What The Geared Trolley Is
A geared trolley adds a hand chain and a gear train to the plain trolley. The operator stands on the floor and turns the hand chain to drive the trolley along the beam, which gives precise positioning even when the beam is high above the working level.
The same lifetime lubricated sealed ball bearings and contour cast iron wheels are used as on the plain trolley, and beam width is set by changing the number of spacers.
