What The Ton Bag Is
The ton bag is how bulk material moves when it is not worth palletising. It is cheap, it folds flat when empty, and it can be lifted by a forklift or a crane from four loops.
The standard bag is 90 cm by 90 cm by 90 cm high, uncoated, U panel construction, with a body fabric of 140 g/m2 and four lifting loops of 7 cm width by 30 cm height in 42 g/m fabric. Colour is white as standard, and the bag can be made in another colour, size or material to the customer requirement.

How To Use The Ton Bag Safely
- Confirm the safe working load and the safety factor before filling.
- Fill the bag evenly and keep the load centred so the four loops share the weight.
- Lift from all four loops together, never from two.
- Keep the bag out of prolonged direct sunlight, which degrades the fabric.
- Do not reuse a bag that shows cut, abraded or sun damaged fabric.
