Grain Storage And Handling Terminals Questions
How long does erection take?
Erection time depends on battery size, foundation readiness and local crew. TITAN supplies installation supervision for the mechanical and electrical work so the local crew follows one method.
What foundation do I need?
A cement cone base is normal under 12 m diameter where gravity discharge is wanted. Above 12 m a half cone or flat base is built and a sweeper finishes the discharge.
Can I add silos later?
Yes. Silos are built in linear, triangular, square, single row or multi row groups, so a battery can be laid out for extension from the start.
How is grain condition monitored?
Moisture and heat monitoring and control is available as part of the storage package, alongside broken grain reduction devices on the filling route.
