Flour And Grain Mills Questions
How much cleaning capacity should I install?
Size the cleaning section above the milling capacity. A TTS-400 scourer at 18 TPH in front of a smaller mill keeps working when the wheat is dirtier than usual.
Does scouring damage the kernel?
Scouring works on the surface. Rotor and screen jacket designs are selected for the crop, with intensive versions for durum and oats.
Can the destoner handle maize?
Yes, at up to 16.5 t/h on corn and maize. The same machine also handles rye, rice and soybeans.
Do you supply wheat storage as well?
Yes. Galvanized silos for flour milling are part of the same project scope, including the conveying between silo and mill.
