TISP Hammer Mill for Biomass
The hammer mill is the grinder in front of the pellet die.
View SpecificationsTITN Ring Die Pellet Mill
The TITN pellet mill presses husk, wood chips, sawdust, straw, pasture, chrysanthemum and palm leaf into pellets.
View SpecificationsProblems This Range Solves
- Rice husk piles up at the mill and disposal becomes a cost line instead of a revenue line.
- Loose biomass is expensive to transport because you are paying to move air.
- Ring dies wear out quickly when the feed is uneven and the material is oversized.
- Pellet plants stop for refuelling and cooling instead of running through the shift.
Who It Is For
- Rice mills with a husk stream to monetise
- Biomass fuel producers making wood and straw pellets
- Feed plants pelleting pasture and agricultural residues
- Boiler operators producing their own fuel on site
Core Advantages
- Hammer mill range from 0.8 to 2.0 t/h up to 5.0 to 7.0 t/h on 45 kW to 200 kW drives.
- Ring die pellet mills from 0.7 to 1.0 t/h up to 2.5 to 3.5 t/h across the TITN range.
- High precision main drive gear and quick release hoop type ring die, efficiency raised by 20 percent.
- Compensation type bibby coupling for higher reliability and a lower breakdown rate.
- Non stop refuelling system and air cooling so the mill keeps running through the shift.
Application Scenarios
- Rice husk to fuel pellets at the mill
- Sawdust and wood chip pelleting
- Straw, pasture and palm leaf pelleting
- Coarse grinding of fibre material before pelleting

Husk Pelleting Solution Questions
What size material can the hammer mill take?
It is designed for chipped material up to 30 mm long, 30 mm wide and 10 mm thick, and it suits fibre material with high moisture and oiliness as well as coarse grinding.
What pellet output should I plan for?
A TITN470 at 55 kW produces 0.7 to 1.0 t/h and a TITN850 at 220 kW produces 2.5 to 3.5 t/h. Figures vary with the raw material and the machine specification.
Which raw materials work in the pellet mill?
Paddy husk, wood chips, sawdust, straw, pasture, chrysanthemum and palm leaf among other light substances.
Is the line supplied complete?
TITAN offers the biofuel pellet production line as consultation, design, planning, manufacture, installation and follow up upgrade.
How is the ring die changed?
The quick release hoop type ring die is designed for fast replacement, and the die material is finish machined, heat treated and drilled to a dedicated pattern.
What keeps the bearings alive?
Driven parts use high quality transmission bearings and seals, and the machine carries a non stop refuelling system plus air cooling.
