Paddy Husk Pelleting
Every rice mill produces husk it has to move somewhere. A pelleting line converts that stream into a fuel with a market price, using the space and the labour the mill already has.
What Happens At Each Stage And What Usually Goes Wrong
Each stage below lists the problem projects actually run into, and what TITAN does about it.
Stream Assessment
Problem: Husk volume is known by the truckload, not by the tonne per hour.
How we solve it: We convert your milling capacity into an hourly husk stream and size the grinder and die from it.
Size Reduction
Problem: Oversized fibre chokes the die and wears it unevenly.
How we solve it: Hammer mill for chipped material up to 30 mm by 30 mm by 10 mm, from 0.8 to 7.0 t/h across the TISP range.
Conditioning
Problem: Moisture outside the working range gives soft pellets or a blocked die.
How we solve it: The feeder structure conveys material evenly, with a variable feed rate ahead of the die.
Pelleting
Problem: Die changes take a shift out of the schedule.
How we solve it: Quick release hoop type ring die with high precision main drive gear, efficiency raised by 20 percent.
Reliability
Problem: Coupling and bearing failures stop the line at peak season.
How we solve it: Compensation type bibby coupling, high quality transmission bearings and seals, non stop refuelling and air cooling.
Storage And Bagging
Problem: Pellets absorb moisture if they are stored loose.
How we solve it: Cone granaries or welded silos for finished pellets, then quantitative bagging scales.
Installation
Problem: A pellet line dropped next to a mill rarely lines up with the existing handling.
How we solve it: Consultation, design, planning, manufacture, installation and follow up upgrade are offered as one package.
Machines In This Solution
Poultry Feed Cone Granary
A cone bottom granary for finished feed and mash, sized for farms and feed plants that need the silo to empty completely between batches.

View SpecificationsPaddy Husk Pelleting Questions
Which materials can the line pellet?
Paddy husk, wood chips, sawdust, straw, pasture, chrysanthemum and palm leaf among other light substances.
Do I need a chipper?
For wood and stalk material yes, because the hammer mill is specified for chipped material up to 30 mm. Rice husk goes straight to grinding.
Can the pellets be used as feed?
The same ring die technology is used for feed pellets from pasture and agricultural residues, with die and roller selection per material.
What power supply is needed?
Main drives run from 45 kW on the smallest hammer mill to 220 kW on the largest pellet mill, so the plant supply has to be confirmed at the quotation stage.
