What Happens At Each Stage And What Usually Goes Wrong
Each stage below lists the problem projects actually run into, and what TITAN does about it.
Wheat Assessment
Problem: Cleaning equipment picked for clean wheat fails on a dirty harvest.
How we solve it: Machine capacity is quoted per crop and per contamination level, for example up to 22 t/h on soft wheat and 14.5 t/h on durum.
Storage
Problem: Wheat that swings in moisture makes tempering unpredictable.
How we solve it: Galvanized silos with sealed roof joints hold the wheat at a stable moisture ahead of milling.
Separation
Problem: Stones and glass reach the rolls and stop the mill.
How we solve it: MTSD destoner separates stones, pebbles, glass and other high density matter from the stream.
Surface Treatment
Problem: Adhering dirt raises ash and lowers flour grade.
How we solve it: TTS horizontal scourers from 9 to 25 TPH with an aspiration channel or air recycling aspirator at the discharge.
Sanitation
Problem: Microbe and insect fragment counts fail audits.
How we solve it: Scouring reduces the microbe count and the insect and insect fragment count as part of the same pass.
Sifting
Problem: Overloaded sieves cut cleaning quality and capacity together.
How we solve it: Inlet aspiration removes lightweight particles and dust before the sieve, which reduces sieve load.
Conveying
Problem: A fast mill with slow conveying is still a slow mill.
How we solve it: Bucket elevators, chain conveyors and gates are sized for the section, not bought by the metre.
Packing
Problem: Flour packing has to serve both 50 kg sacks and retail pouches.
How we solve it: Quantitative scales for sacks and doypack machines for retail powder formats.

Do you supply roller mills?
TITAN supplies the cleaning, sifting, conveying, storage and packing sections. Tell us what your milling section already is and we will match the cleaning capacity to it.
How much space does the section need?
Machine dimensions are published per model, for example 2100 mm long scourers across the TTS range, so the section can be laid out against your existing building.
Can the same section clean maize?
Yes, with the destoner rated up to 16.5 t/h on corn and maize and the sieve set for the particle size.
Is training included?
Commissioning includes remote instruction or site training, and classroom and online training is part of the service programme.
