View specificationsOn a drawing block, a bunching machine or an enamelling line, a wire break is not a welding problem — it is a downtime problem. A cold welder sits beside the machine, takes seconds to make a joint, and the joint pulls through the next die without opening up.
Solid-phase joining. Nothing is annealed, nothing oxidises, and there is no consumable cost beyond the dies.
A correct cold weld breaks in the parent metal, not at the joint, and keeps the same electrical characteristics.
Load, close, shear the flash. There is little or no operator training needed.
Single and double cavity dies for round or profile wire, with a -1% / +2% tolerance to the wire.
A break is unavoidable. What is avoidable is threading the whole line again.
See the workflowDissimilar non-ferrous metals joined in the solid phase, at the same electrical characteristics as the parent wire.
See the workflowThe CHY series covers copper from 1.00 mm to 20.00 mm and aluminium to 25.00 mm, including rectangular strip.
Industry-standard dies for wire from 0.10 mm to 25.0 mm, single or double cavity, round or profile.
Drawing and stranding dies from 0.015 mm to 40.00 mm, chosen by wear rate rather than by price per die.
Compression tooling engineered for concentricity, so the insulation wall can be run thin without breaking through.

Quotes for cold welding machines are built around the wire diameter, the section and the electrical supply where the machine will run.
