Zero wear across the die life, from φ0.50 mm to φ120 mm, for stranding bunching compacting and drawing.

Nano dies are diamond coated dies for cable stranding, bunching and compacting, wire drawing and tube drawing. They are available from φ0.50 mm to φ120 mm. The coating shows effectively zero wear across the life of the die, which is what saves the raw material a worn die would waste as oversize wire.
Nano dies extend die life at least 10 times longer than tungsten carbide wire dies on the same wire.
For wire and tube drawing from φ0.50 mm to φ40 mm, die life on aluminium wire is over 30 times tungsten carbide.
For cable compacting and stranding from φ0.50 mm to φ120 mm, nano dies compact over 500 km of conductor where tungsten carbide manages 20 km to 30 km.
No wear across the die life means the wire size does not drift, so raw material is not paid for as oversize.
Nano dies give a smoother surface, lower friction and better price performance than PCD and tungsten carbide dies. Many cable manufacturers have found that replacing tungsten carbide dies with nano dies results in significant raw material savings.
The manufacturer's own data sheets for this item, reproduced as supplied.

Dies are manufactured for wire between 0.10 mm and 25.0 mm to suit round or profile wire and rod, to the customer's own specification, at -1% / +2% of the wire diameter.
On the motorised and hydraulic machines, operating voltage is built to the industrial supply of the destination country. State voltage, phase and frequency with the order.
Machines are packed in a strong wooden or plywood case as stated per model. Carry cases are supplied with the portable welders and the DA10.

At least 10 times on low carbon steel and stainless steel wire, over 30 times on aluminium wire, and over 500 km against 20-30 km on cable compacting.
Stranded cable for electrical transmission, wire drawing including welding wire and low, medium and high carbon steel wire, stainless steel, and tube drawing.
Because a worn die produces oversize wire. Zero wear during the entire life of the die saves the raw material cost that drift represents.
Give the wire material, the diameter and the country the machine will run in, and the quote comes back with the die set and the voltage build already decided.
