Multi Roll Levelers For Thin Strip and Cut To Length Lines

Levelers with a high roll count for thin and high value strip, where correction has to be gradual rather than forceful.

Thin soft strip does not tolerate aggressive bending. More rolls mean more bending steps and a correction the material can absorb without marking or over stretching.

Multi Roll Levelers We Supply

From 23 roll copper levelers to complete cut to length lines with an integrated leveling section.

Who Buys Multi Roll Levelers

Who runs multi roll machines.

  • Copper strip processors serving electrical customers
  • Titanium and specialty alloy processors
  • Service centres running cut to length lines
  • Plants with distortion problems after stamping
  • Ripple patterns and edge waves on thin strip
  • Distortion appearing during forming and stamping
  • Surface marking from coarse roll arrangements
  • Scrap cost on high value alloys

Why Plants Source Multi Roll Levelers From Ascon

Why the roll count matters.

Gradual Correction

A 23 roll set applies the correction in small steps, which is what thin copper and titanium tolerate.

Servo Roll Positioning

Hydraulic servo systems with sensor feedback give the setting resolution foil gauges need.

Rigid Welded Frame

Q235A plate frames, continuously welded in an open structure, keep the roll gap stable under load.

Application Scenarios

Typical installations.

Electrical And Electronic Strip

Copper strip from 0.08 mm to 1 mm for connectors, terminals and electrical components.

Cut To Length Lines

A leveling section ahead of the shear so blanks stay flat after cutting.

Ultra Thin Alloy Work

Titanium plate down to 0.03 mm where scrap cost dominates processing cost.

FAQ

Multi Roll Levelers Buying Questions

How many rolls do we need?

It depends on gauge and material. Thin soft strip benefits from more rolls and smaller diameters, while heavier gauge needs fewer, larger rolls. Send your material and gauge range and we advise.

Can one machine cover several materials?

Within a range, yes. The machine is configured around the thinnest and softest material you run, and heavier gauges are handled with different settings.

Will the leveler mark soft strip?

Roll diameter, surface finish and settings are specified to avoid it. Roll cleanliness in service is the other half of the answer.

Is the leveler sold separately from the line?

Yes. We supply the leveling section alone, or a complete cut to length line including leveling, cutting, sorting and stacking.

What accuracy can a cut to length line hold?

Our servo driven configuration holds cut length deviation within 0.5 mm at speeds up to 120 m/min.

Do you supply the roll sets?

Yes, work rolls and support rolls for these machines are produced here to the original drawing.

Configure A Multi Roll Leveler
