TITN Ring Die Pellet Mill
The TITN pellet mill presses husk, wood chips, sawdust, straw, pasture, chrysanthemum and palm leaf into pellets.

What This Machine Does
The TITN pellet mill presses husk, wood chips, sawdust, straw, pasture, chrysanthemum and palm leaf into pellets. A high precision main drive gear and a quick release hoop type ring die raise efficiency by 20 percent compared with the machines TITAN measured it against, and the feeder structure conveys material evenly into the die.
Key Benefits
- Efficiency increased by 20 percent through the drive gear and quick release die design
- Ring die in special material with finish machining, heat treatment and a dedicated drilling technique
- High quality transmission bearings and seals for smooth, quiet and efficient drive
- Compensation type bibby coupling for higher reliability and a lower breakdown rate
- Non stop refuelling system and air cooling so the mill runs through the shift
Problems It Solves
- Die changes that take a shift out of the production schedule
- Coupling and bearing failures stopping the line at peak season
- Uneven feed wearing the die unevenly
- Stops for refuelling and cooling instead of continuous running
Who It Is For
- Rice mills monetising the husk stream
- Biomass fuel producers
- Feed plants
- Boiler operators producing fuel on site
Application Scenarios
- Rice husk pelleting at the mill
- Wood chip and sawdust fuel pellets
- Straw, pasture and palm leaf pelleting
- Feed pellets from agricultural residues
Technical Features
- High precision main drive gear with quick release hoop type ring die
- Ring die of special material, finish machined, heat treated and drilled to a unique pattern
- Feeder with a variable rate and a structure that conveys material evenly
- Compensation type bibby coupling to international specification
- Non stop refuelling system with air cooling
TITN Ring Die Pellet Mill Model Table
Figures below are taken from the TITAN model sheets. Where a figure depends on the crop or the contamination level it is stated that way rather than averaged.
| Model | Power (kW) | Capacity (t/h) | Weight (t) |
|---|---|---|---|
| TITN470 | 55 | 0.7 to 1.0 | 3.6 |
| TITN560 | 90 | 1.2 to 1.5 | 5.6 |
| TITN580 | 90 | 1.0 to 1.5 | 5.5 |
| TITN600 | 110 | 1.3 to 1.8 | 5.6 |
| TITN660 | 132 | 1.5 to 2.0 | 5.9 |
| TITN760 | 160 | 1.5 to 2.5 | 9.6 |
| TITN850 | 220 | 2.5 to 3.5 | 13 |
| TITN860 | 220 | 2.5 to 3.5 | 10 |
Figures vary based on the input material and the machine specification.
How This Machine Is Built
Quality Control
- Drive gear precision checked on assembly
- Die and roller clearance set before the run test
- Coupling alignment verified
Materials And Wear Parts
- Ring die in special material, heat treated
- High quality transmission bearings and seals
Customisation Options
- Die hole pattern selected for the raw material
- Model chosen from the hourly material stream
- Drive power specified for the plant supply
Use Guide
- Match the mill to the continuous material stream rather than the peak
- Keep the feed rate even so the die wears uniformly
- Use the non stop refuelling system as intended to avoid dry running
- Change the die when pellet quality drops rather than when the machine stops
How It Compares With The Alternatives
| Flat die pellet mills | Ring die construction with a quick release hoop design is built for continuous industrial output. |
|---|---|
| Machines without a compensation coupling | The bibby coupling is specified for higher reliability and a lower breakdown rate. |
TITN Ring Die Pellet Mill Questions
What capacity is available?
From 0.7 to 1.0 t/h on a TITN470 at 55 kW up to 2.5 to 3.5 t/h on a TITN850 at 220 kW.
Which raw materials can it pellet?
Paddy husk, wood chips, sawdust, straw, pasture, chrysanthemum and palm leaf among other light substances.
How is the die changed?
The quick release hoop type ring die is designed for fast replacement.
What protects the drive?
A compensation type bibby coupling, high quality transmission bearings and seals, plus air cooling and a non stop refuelling system.
Are capacity figures guaranteed?
They vary based on the input material and the machine specification, which is why the material has to be defined before ordering.
What does a machine weigh?
From 3.6 t on a TITN470 to 13 t on a TITN850.
