KTD300-New is a radial drive-axle truck tyre designed for regional and national transport fleets that operate on paved highways and occasional light unpaved roads. The shoulder block pattern is optimised to resist damage from kerb contact and uneven surfaces, and the tread compound delivers lasting grip and stability under varied load and terrain conditions.

What KTD300-New Is Built For
KTD300-New is a radial drive-axle truck tyre designed for regional and national transport fleets that operate on paved highways and occasional light unpaved roads. The shoulder block pattern is optimised to resist damage from kerb contact and uneven surfaces, and the tread compound delivers lasting grip and stability under varied load and terrain conditions. It carries M+S and 3PMSF markings, which supports year-round use without seasonal tyre changes. Seven sizes are available across 16, 18 and 20 ply ratings, covering common drive axle fitments for regional haulers, delivery trucks and light construction support vehicles.
Manufacturer Feature Claims
- Suitable for Drive Axle of Trucks Running Under a Wide Range of Use, from Highway to Light Unpaved Road
- Optimization of the shoulder block improves resistance to shoulder damage
- Lasting grip and stability ,with M+S and 3PMSF marking
- High wear resistance
Key Benefits
- Optimised shoulder block reduces damage from kerb contact and uneven surfaces
- M+S and 3PMSF markings allow year-round use without seasonal changeover
- High wear resistance extends casing life under mixed-duty conditions
- Seven sizes from 12R22.5 to 315/60R22.5 cover most regional and national drive axles
- Load index up to 156/150 K carries 4000 kg single at 850 kPa on the 315/80R22.5 20PR fitment
Problems It Solves
- Standard highway drive tyres suffer shoulder damage from repeated kerb contact on delivery routes
- Fleets running on light unpaved roads experience early casing failure due to lack of shoulder reinforcement
- Seasonal tyre changeover doubles inventory and fitting labour for winter routes
- Deep-lug off-road patterns wear too quickly and run noisily on paved sections of the same route
- Inconsistent load capacity across sizes leads to over-specification or under-rating
Who It Is For
- Tyre distributors supplying regional haul and delivery fleets in mixed-surface markets
- Fleet operators replacing drive-axle tyres that fail from shoulder damage rather than tread wear
- Importers needing a single drive pattern that covers both highway and light off-road use
- Distributors buying by container for regional and national transport fleets
Application Scenarios
- Regional haul trucks running from city distribution centres to rural delivery points with gravel access roads
- Delivery fleets operating on asphalt highways but accessing unpaved loading docks or warehouse yards
- Light construction support vehicles moving between paved sites and unsealed access roads
- Fleets that need one drive tyre pattern for year-round operation across mixed terrain
- Operators replacing tyres that fail prematurely due to shoulder damage on frequent kerb contact
Technical Features
- Shoulder block design optimised for resistance to damage from kerb contact and uneven surfaces
- Tread compound engineered for high wear resistance and lasting grip under mixed-duty use
- M+S and 3PMSF markings confirmed for compliance with winter road regulations
- Radial casing construction with tread depth ranging from 19.5 mm to 22.0 mm across sizes
- Available in seven sizes across 16, 18 and 20 ply ratings to match common regional truck fitments

Where This Pattern Wins and Where It Does Not
Compared With Long-haul highway drive tyres
KTD300-New prioritises shoulder durability and mixed-surface resistance over rolling efficiency; on pure highway duty, a long-haul pattern may last longer per millimetre
Compared With Dedicated off-road drive tyres
A deep-lug off-road pattern grips better in mud but wears faster and runs noisier on paved sections of the same route
Compared With Separate summer and winter drive tyres
The 3PMSF marking removes the need for seasonal changeover, but a dedicated winter drive tyre still has the edge on packed snow
Use Guide
- Match ply rating to your actual axle load, not to the heaviest tyre available - overspecifying costs money and rides hard
- Check the standard rim listed against your wheel: L for 12R22.5 and 315/60R22.5, M for 295/80R22.5 and 315/80R22.5, L(M) for 315/70R22.5
- Inflate to the pressure shown for your load in the size table; dual and single fitment pressures differ
- Rotate drive positions before irregular wear sets in, particularly on fleets running heavy one-way loads
- Inspect shoulder blocks after every route with unpaved access to detect early signs of damage
KTD300-New Buying Questions
What is the minimum order quantity?
We load by full container. A 40HQ of 12R22.5 or 315/80R22.5 typically fills at container weight rather than volume, so the practical minimum is one container. Mixed loads across sizes and patterns are accepted.
What is the lead time?
It depends on whether the size is in stock at the plant or has to be produced. We confirm current availability with the plant at the time of quotation rather than quoting a standard figure.
Which sizes are available?
12R22.5 in 16PR and 18PR, 295/80R22.5 in 16PR, 315/80R22.5 in 18PR and 20PR, 315/70R22.5 in 16PR, and 315/60R22.5 in 16PR. Full load index, rim and pressure data for each is in the size table on this page.
Is this tyre legal for winter use?
It carries both the M+S and the 3PMSF alpine markings, which is the marking most European winter regulations require. Confirm your own national rule before ordering.
Can you supply DOT or ECE marked tyres?
Marking requirements vary by destination. Tell us the import market and we confirm what marking the plant can supply on that size before you place the order.
What warranty do you give?
One year against manufacturing defect on all tyres we supply, with claims handled by us directly. Cargo transportation insurance is provided on the shipment itself.
Can you ship a mixed container with other patterns?
Yes. Most of our customers load one container across several patterns and sizes, which is the main reason to buy through us rather than from a single plant.
