What F820-Regional Is Built For
F820-Regional is a radial truck tyre designed for steer and trailer axle positions on medium-duty buses and trucks. The tread pattern balances wear life and traction across urban, regional and highway routes. It is built for consistent performance in mixed-duty environments where the tyre sees frequent stops, moderate speeds and varied road surfaces. The size range covers common 19.5 and 22.5 inch rims used in regional transport fleets. Load index and speed rating are matched to the axle position and vehicle duty, with pressure and load data confirmed per size in the table. The tyre carries ETRTO and TRA operational standards, ensuring compliance with regional fitment and load requirements.

Where This Pattern Wins and Where It Does Not
Compared With Heavy-duty drive axle tyres
F820-Regional is not designed for drive axle duty; it lacks the block pattern and belt reinforcement needed for high torque and traction under load
Compared With Long-haul highway tyres
A highway pattern would last longer on paved roads but wears faster on urban surfaces due to less stone ejector design and lower tread depth
Compared With Dedicated steer and trailer patterns from different brands
Using one pattern across both positions simplifies stock, reduces fitting errors and avoids mismatched wear between steer and trailer tyres
Use Guide
- Match ply rating to your actual axle load, not to the highest rating available - overspecifying increases cost and reduces ride comfort
- Check the standard rim listed against your wheel: 7.50 for 265/70R19.5 and 255/70R22.5, 8.25 for 285/70R19.5 and 275/70R22.5
- Inflate to the pressure shown for your load in the size table; dual and single fitment pressures differ
- Rotate steer and trailer positions before irregular wear sets in, especially on fleets with one-way loading patterns
- Inspect tread and sidewall after every urban cycle to detect early signs of stone damage or uneven wear
F820-Regional Buying Questions
What is the minimum order quantity?
We load by full container. A 40HQ of 265/70R19.5 or 275/70R22.5 typically fills at container weight rather than volume, so the practical minimum is one container. Mixed loads across sizes and patterns are accepted.
What is the lead time?
It depends on whether the size is in stock at the plant or has to be produced. We confirm current availability with the plant at the time of quotation rather than quoting a standard figure.
Which sizes are available?
265/70R19.5 in 14, 16 and 18 PR; 285/70R19.5 in 16 and 18 PR; 255/70R22.5 in 14 and 16 PR; 275/70R22.5 in 16 and 18 PR. Full load index, rim and pressure data for each is in the size table on this page.
Can you supply DOT or ECE marked tyres?
Marking requirements vary by destination. Tell us the import market and we confirm what marking the plant can supply on that size before you place the order.
What warranty do you give?
One year against manufacturing defect on all tyres we supply, with claims handled by us directly. Cargo transportation insurance is provided on the shipment itself.
Can you ship a mixed container with other patterns?
Yes. Most of our customers load one container across several patterns and sizes, which is the main reason to buy through us rather than from a single plant.
Is this tyre suitable for drive axle use?
No. F820-Regional is designed for steer and trailer axle positions only. It does not have the block pattern or belt reinforcement needed for drive axle duty.
