One Year Warranty With Claims Handled Here

Every tyre we supply carries a one year warranty against manufacturing defect. What matters more than the length of the warranty is who handles the claim, and the answer is us, not a plant on the other side of the world.

The problem

Why This Exists

The warranty on a directly imported tyre is often technically valid and practically useless. The claim has to go back to the plant, in the plant's language, through whichever contact answered the last email. Photographs get lost, serial numbers get questioned, and the distributor ends up crediting the end customer out of their own margin to keep them. The warranty was never the problem. The route to using it was.

How it works

Step by Step

1

Report

Send us photographs of the tyre, the damage and the sidewall markings including the serial. Tell us the fitment, the pressure it ran at and the approximate distance covered.

2

First Assessment

We look at it before it goes anywhere. A lot of what gets reported as a defect is impact damage, underinflation or a fitment error, and telling you that quickly is more useful than sending it into a process that will take weeks to say the same thing.

3

Plant Submission

Where it is a manufacturing defect, we submit it to the plant with the technical detail in the form the plant needs, and we chase it.

4

Resolution

Quick resolution of claims is part of our service commitment. You deal with one counterparty throughout.

5

Settlement

Settlement is normally applied against your next order rather than as a separate transaction, which is faster and avoids a second set of bank charges.

What you get

What Changes for You

  • One year warranty against manufacturing defect on every tyre we supply
  • Claims assessed by us first so obvious non-defects are identified early
  • Submission handled in the plant's own technical format rather than by the distributor
  • One counterparty from report to settlement
  • Cargo transportation insurance covers the separate risk of transit damage
Who it is for

Buyers Who Get the Most From This

  • Distributors who have to credit their own customers while a claim sits unanswered
  • Fleet buyers who need a technical answer, not just a replacement tyre
  • Importers new to a brand who want to know the support exists before committing volume
  • Anyone who has had a claim disappear into a plant email address
Questions

Warranty and Claims Questions

What does the warranty actually cover?

Manufacturing defect, for one year. It does not cover impact damage, cuts, underinflation, overloading, misapplication or normal wear, which is standard across the industry.

What do you need from me to open a claim?

Clear photographs of the whole tyre, the damage area and the full sidewall marking including the serial number, plus the fitment details and running conditions. The serial is what lets the plant trace the production batch.

Do I have to ship the tyre back?

Usually not for the initial assessment. Photographs settle most cases. If the plant needs the physical tyre for a technical decision we will tell you before you incur any cost.

How long does a claim take?

Our first assessment is quick. The plant stage depends on the plant and on the nature of the defect. We will not quote you a number we cannot hold to, but we will tell you where a claim stands whenever you ask.

What if my customer needs a replacement immediately?

Talk to us. Where the case is clear we would rather keep your customer on the road and settle the paperwork behind it.

Is transit damage covered by the warranty?

No, that is a different thing. Transit damage is covered by the cargo transportation insurance we arrange on every shipment.
