What KMA400-New Is Built For
KMA400-New is a radial truck tyre designed for all axle positions on trucks operating under mixed on-road and off-road conditions. The tyre features a thick sidewall to resist impacts and bruising from rough terrain, and a stone rejection design in the groove bottom to prevent stone punctures. It carries M+S and 3PMSF markings for year-round performance on winter routes without seasonal changeover. Twelve sizes are available across 14 to 22 ply ratings, with load indices from 136/134 to 158/150, covering a range of light to heavy-duty truck applications.
Manufacturer Feature Claims
- Suitable for All Position Axle of Trucks Under All Kinds of Working Conditions
- Thick sidewall design protects against sidewall impacts and bruises
- Stone rejection design protects groove bottom from stone puncture
- Lasting grip and stability,with M+S and 3PMSF marking
Key Benefits
- Thick sidewall construction resists impacts and bruising on unsealed and rough surfaces
- Stone rejection groove design prevents trapped aggregate from damaging the casing
- M+S and 3PMSF markings allow year-round use on winter routes without seasonal changeover
- Twelve sizes across 14 to 22 ply ratings support a wide range of truck types and axle loads
- Load index up to 158/150 K carries 4250 kg single at 900 kPa on the 315/80R22.5 22PR fitment
Problems It Solves
- Standard highway tyres fail early on rough terrain due to thin sidewalls vulnerable to bruising
- Stones lodged in groove bottoms cause casing damage before the tread is worn out
- Running separate tyres for summer and winter increases stock, storage and fitting costs
- Deep-lug off-road patterns wear quickly and generate noise on paved sections of the route
- Lack of M+S or 3PMSF marking forces seasonal tyre changes in regulated winter markets
Who It Is For
- Tyre distributors supplying mixed-duty fleets in emerging markets with varied road conditions
- Fleet operators replacing tyres that fail due to sidewall damage rather than tread wear
- Importers needing one pattern that covers both winter-marked and general on-off road use
- Contractors buying tyres by the container for captive fleets operating in mixed environments
Application Scenarios
- Trucks running daily between urban delivery routes and gravel construction sites
- Fleets operating in mining support roles with mixed tarmac and graded haul roads
- Distribution trucks serving rural areas with unpaved feeder roads and occasional off-road access
- Construction and utility vehicles that must remain road-legal through snow seasons
- Trucks used in agricultural transport that travel on both paved highways and field access roads
Technical Features
- Radial casing construction with thick sidewall for impact resistance on mixed surfaces
- Stone rejection profile in the groove bottom to eject trapped aggregate under deflection
- Tread block pattern designed for stability and grip under load across all working conditions
- M+S and 3PMSF markings certified for severe snow service and winter road legality
- Tread depth ranges from 15.5 mm to 19.0 mm, with 19.0 mm on the larger sizes for extended life

Where This Pattern Wins and Where It Does Not
Compared With Standard highway truck tyres
KMA400-New has a thicker sidewall and stone rejection design to survive off-road impacts; highway tyres fail early on rough terrain
Compared With Dedicated off-road truck tyres
A deep-lug off-road pattern grips better in mud but wears faster and runs noisier on paved roads; KMA400-New balances on and off road performance
Compared With Separate summer and winter tyres
The 3PMSF marking removes the need for seasonal changeover, but a dedicated winter tyre still has better performance on packed snow
Use Guide
- Match ply rating to your actual axle load, not to the heaviest tyre available – overspecifying increases cost and reduces ride comfort
- Check the standard rim listed against your wheel: 6.5 for 8.25R20, 7.0 for 9.00R20, 7.5 for 10.00R20, 9.75 for 12R22.5 and 13R22.5, 9.00 for 295/80R22.5 and 315/80R22.5
- Inflate to the pressure shown for your load in the size table; dual and single fitment pressures differ
- Rotate axle positions before irregular wear sets in, especially on fleets running heavy one-way loads
- Inspect groove bottoms for lodged stone after every off-road cycle to protect the casing for retreading
KMA400-New Buying Questions
What is the minimum order quantity?
We load by full container. A 40HQ of 13R22.5 or 315/80R22.5 typically fills at container weight rather than volume, so the practical minimum is one container. Mixed loads across sizes and patterns are accepted.
What is the lead time?
It depends on whether the size is in stock at the plant or has to be produced. We confirm current availability with the plant at the time of quotation rather than quoting a standard figure.
Which sizes are available?
8.25R20, 9.00R20, 10.00R20, 12R22.5, 13R22.5, 295/80R22.5, and 315/80R22.5. Ply ratings from 14 to 22, load indices from 136/134 to 158/150. Full data is in the size table.
Is this tyre legal for winter use?
It carries both the M+S and the 3PMSF alpine markings, which is the marking most European winter regulations require. Confirm your own national rule before ordering.
Can you supply DOT or ECE marked tyres?
Marking requirements vary by destination. Tell us the import market and we confirm what marking the plant can supply on that size before you place the order.
What warranty do you give?
One year against manufacturing defect on all tyres we supply, with claims handled by us directly. Cargo transportation insurance is provided on the shipment itself.
Can you ship a mixed container with other patterns?
Yes. Most of our customers load one container across several patterns and sizes, which is the main reason to buy through us rather than from a single plant.
