Why This Route Exists
Aluminium alloy parts are specified for weight, thermal behaviour and pressure tightness, and each of those targets favours a different casting route. Eurona covers sand casting, gravity die casting, high pressure die casting, low pressure metal die casting and low pressure sand casting.
Secondary operations — welding, extrusion, forging, CNC machining, painting, coating and anodising — are coordinated in the same supply chain, so a housing arrives finished rather than as a raw casting.
Published Specifications
These are the figures published for this process family. Values that depend on the specific part are confirmed during drawing review.

Process And Quality Capability
Machining and forming, welding, extrusion, forging and CNC machining.
Painting, coating and anodising.
X-ray for internal defects, 3D scanning for complex surfaces, spectrum analysis for composition, pressure testing for housings, CMM for critical dimensions and film thickness for coatings.
What Usually Goes Wrong Without This Route
- A die casting supplier quotes a low piece price but the tool is wrong for the batch size.
- Housings leak under pressure test because porosity was never screened by X-ray.
- Anodised surfaces vary in colour and thickness between production runs.

Aluminum Alloy — Frequently Asked Questions
What weight range does aluminum alloy cover?
Please see the specification table on this page.
Which materials are available for aluminum alloy?
ADC12, A380, EN AC-42100 (A356), EN AC-43000 (AlSi10Mg), EN AC-46000, EN AC-46100
Can machining and surface treatment be included?
Yes. CNC machining, dimensional control, surface treatment and necessary pre-assembly are coordinated in the same supply chain, so parts can be delivered finished to the drawing.
What is needed to get a quotation?
Drawings, material, quantity, quality standard and target delivery date. Those five items allow a process route and a suitable production base to be proposed.
Talk To An Engineer About Aluminum Alloy
Send the drawing with the material, quantity and inspection requirement. We will confirm the process route and the production base before quoting.
