Pin Holder For Artos Stenter Chains

The holder that carries the pin plate on an Artos chain, matched to the Artos clip profile.

Product Overview

The pin holder is the part that carries the pin plate on the chain. On Artos frames it also has to work alongside the clip geometry on the same chain, which is why we make it as part of the Artos clip and chain range rather than in isolation.

Where an Artos frame is running pin work, the holder takes the full press wheel load every time the cloth is driven onto the pins. It wears more slowly than the plate but once its seat opens, every new plate fitted into it starts rocking.

Key Benefits

  • Restores the seat a new Artos pin plate needs to sit flat
  • Made to work alongside the Artos clip geometry on the same chain
  • Available with matching Artos pin plates in two seat profiles
  • Reproduced from your sample where the frame has been modified

Who It Is For

  • Artos users renewing the pin bed properly rather than repeatedly
  • Engineers who have diagnosed plate failure as a seat problem
  • Maintenance stores building an Artos chain-side spares kit

Problems It Solves

  • Short pin plate life caused by worn holder seats
  • Artos chain-side parts being hard to obtain
  • Holder and plate wear being addressed in separate shutdowns

Application Scenarios

  • Artos frames where new pin plates keep failing early
  • Chain-side rebuild on an Artos machine
  • Frames converted between clip and pin work

Technical Features

  • Seat matched to Artos pin plates
  • Mounts to the Artos chain
  • Metal construction, black finish

Certifications. We make no certification claim for this part. The original company statement is that products comply with international quality standards; no certificate is named and none is asserted here. Ask us directly if your procurement process requires documentation.

Comparison With Other Options

Replacing plates alone is cheaper for one shutdown. Replacing holders and plates together stops the cycle in which every new plate is destroyed within weeks by a seat that has already worn.

Use Guide

Gauge existing seats with a new plate before ordering holders

Renew holders and plates as a set within each section

Check chain link elongation while the holders are off

Torque chain fixings to the machine specification

Confirm each plate seats flat with no rock before running

FAQ

Questions About Pin Holder For Artos Stenter Chains

How do I know if the holders need changing?

Fit a new plate and check it. If it rocks in the seat, the holder has worn and the plate will not last.

Which Artos plate profile does it take?

We make both the standard and the wide base Artos plate. Tell us which you run, or send a sample plate.

Can you reproduce our holder?

Yes. Send a sample; reverse engineering is routine work for us.

Do you supply Artos clips too?

Yes, along with chains, PEEK sliders, PEEK bushes and brush wheels.

Minimum order?

No fixed minimum. Section quantities are usual.

Lead time?

Within 7 days for standard parts.

Send A Sample And We Will Match The Profile

Seat profiles and geometry changed across frame generations, so the part itself is more reliable than a model number. We identify it and quote the matching specification.
