Joident has been designing and building instrument reprocessing equipment in Ningbo since October 2009, and its machines are now in use in more than 100 countries.
From A Startup To A Four Range Manufacturer
Joident was founded in October 2009. Its founder graduated from the University of Manchester in the UK and had already spent years in the medical equipment industry, specifically in oral care, before starting the company.
The company set out to become a global brand in sterilization and to build a manufacturing company with a long heritage. It focuses on supplies for medical organizations, providing sterilization equipment that meets international standards so that the sterilization process itself becomes more efficient and safer.
That focus produced four ranges rather than one product. Novo Pro Class B steam sterilizers, Distilo water distillers, Seal thermal sealers and Meto ultrasonic cleaners cover every stage a reprocessing room has to carry out, which is why a Joident customer can buy the whole room from one supplier.
Joident's design principle is stated simply as simple, innovative and practical. That shows up in the appearance of the machines and in the interfaces, where functions are grouped by how often they are actually used rather than by how the engineering is organised.
