- 8 sizes
- Long Haul
LTE821 is a radial trailer tyre designed for long-haul trucking operations that require consistent straight-line stability, low noise and efficient fuel consumption. The shoulder sipes reduce noise and improve heat dissipation during extended highway runs. It is built for trailer axles in regional and intercity freight fleets, where consistent performance and low rolling resistance are critical.

What LTE821 Is Built For
LTE821 is a radial trailer tyre designed for long-haul trucking operations that require consistent straight-line stability, low noise and efficient fuel consumption. The shoulder sipes reduce noise and improve heat dissipation during extended highway runs. It is built for trailer axles in regional and intercity freight fleets, where consistent performance and low rolling resistance are critical. Eight sizes are available across 11R22.5, 11R24.5, 295/75R22.5 and 285/75R24.5, with ply ratings of 14 and 16, covering most standard trailer axle configurations in Asia, Europe, South America and Africa.
Manufacturer Feature Claims
- Excellent straight running performance
- Sipes in shoulder offer low noise and good heat dissipation
- Low fuel consumption
Key Benefits
- Excellent straight running performance reduces steering effort and tyre wear on long highway stretches
- Shoulder sipes help lower noise levels and improve heat dissipation during sustained operation
- Low fuel consumption due to optimized tread design and low rolling resistance
- Eight sizes across 11R22.5, 11R24.5, 295/75R22.5 and 285/75R24.5 support multiple trailer axle fitments

Problems It Solves
- Trailer tyres that wander or require constant steering correction increase driver fatigue and wear on steering components
- High noise levels from trailer tyres can violate urban access or night-time driving restrictions
- Poor heat dissipation in the shoulder area leads to premature tread separation on long runs
- Inconsistent rolling resistance increases fuel costs over time, especially on high-mileage routes
- Multiple tyre patterns needed for different trailer axle sizes increase stock complexity and ordering effort
Who It Is For

Where This Pattern Wins and Where It Does Not
Compared With Trailer tyres designed for mixed on and off-road use
LTE821 prioritizes straight-line stability and low fuel consumption over off-road grip; it will wear faster and lose traction on loose surfaces
Compared With Tread patterns with deep shoulder blocks for noise reduction
LTE821 uses sipes for noise control, which are less effective than deep blocks in very high noise environments but maintain better heat dissipation
Compared With Tyres with higher speed symbols such as N or H
LTE821 is rated M, limiting use to 100 km/h; higher speed tyres are needed for routes exceeding this limit
Use Guide
- Match ply rating to your actual axle load, not to the heaviest tyre available – overspecifying increases cost and ride harshness
- Check the standard rim listed against your wheel: 8.25 for 11R22.5 and 11R24.5, 9.00 for 295/75R22.5
- Inflate to the pressure shown for your load in the size table; dual and single fitment pressures differ
- Rotate trailer positions before irregular wear sets in, especially on fleets with uneven load distribution
- Inspect tread shoulders for sipe wear after 50,000 km to ensure continued noise and heat performance
LTE821 Buying Questions
What is the minimum order quantity?
We load by full container. A 40HQ of LTE821 typically fills at container weight rather than volume, so the practical minimum is one container. Mixed loads across sizes and patterns are accepted.
What is the lead time?
It depends on whether the size is in stock at the plant or has to be produced. We confirm current availability with the plant at the time of quotation rather than quoting a standard figure.
Which sizes are available?
11R22.5 in 14PR and 16PR, 11R24.5 in 14PR and 16PR, 295/75R22.5 in 14PR and 16PR, and 285/75R24.5 in 14PR and 16PR. Full load index, rim and pressure data for each is in the size table on this page.
Can you supply DOT or ECE marked tyres?
Marking requirements vary by destination. Tell us the import market and we confirm what marking the plant can supply on that size before you place the order.
What warranty do you give?
One year against manufacturing defect on all tyres we supply, with claims handled by us directly. Cargo transportation insurance is provided on the shipment itself.
Can you ship a mixed container with other patterns?
Yes. Most of our customers load one container across several patterns and sizes, which is the main reason to buy through us rather than from a single plant.
Is this tyre suitable for speeds above 100 km/h?
No. LTE821 has a speed symbol M, which limits use to 100 km/h. Higher speed symbols such as N or H are required for faster routes.
