LLF02-Long Haul is a radial steer-axle truck tyre designed for highway fleets that operate on paved routes with consistent speeds and minimal off-road exposure. The tread pattern is engineered for stability and grip on wet and slippery surfaces, with a focus on reducing rolling resistance to lower fuel consumption.

What LLF02-Long Haul Is Built For
LLF02-Long Haul is a radial steer-axle truck tyre designed for highway fleets that operate on paved routes with consistent speeds and minimal off-road exposure. The tread pattern is engineered for stability and grip on wet and slippery surfaces, with a focus on reducing rolling resistance to lower fuel consumption. It is supplied in five size and ply combinations, covering common steer axle fitments for long-haul trucks and buses. The tyre carries the L and M speed symbols, suitable for sustained highway use. All sizes are available with ETRTO and GB standard markings, and are built to meet the load and pressure requirements listed in the size table.

Where This Pattern Wins and Where It Does Not
Compared With Steer tyres designed for mixed-surface or off-road use
LLF02-Long Haul sacrifices off-road traction and sidewall reinforcement for lower rolling resistance and better highway stability
Compared With Tyres with higher load index but no speed symbol
The L and M speed symbols on LLF02-Long Haul ensure compliance with highway speed limits, unlike some tyres with only load index markings
Compared With Tyres with deeper tread for extended casing life
LLF02-Long Haul has a 14.5 mm tread depth, which is standard for long-haul steer tyres; deeper treads are not offered in this pattern
Use Guide
- Match ply rating to your actual axle load, not to the highest available rating – overspecifying increases cost and reduces ride comfort
- Check the standard rim listed (9.00) against your wheel; all sizes in this pattern use the same rim width
- Inflate to the pressure shown in the size table for your load – dual and single fitment pressures differ
- Monitor tread wear regularly; the 14.5 mm norm depth is sufficient for long-haul highway use
- Inspect for uneven wear on the steer axle; steer tyres wear faster when the vehicle is out of alignment
LLF02-Long Haul Buying Questions
What is the minimum order quantity?
We load by full container. A 40HQ of 12R22.5 or 315/80R22.5 typically fills at container weight rather than volume, so the practical minimum is one container. Mixed loads across sizes and patterns are accepted.
What is the lead time?
It depends on whether the size is in stock at the plant or has to be produced. We confirm current availability with the plant at the time of quotation rather than quoting a standard figure.
Which sizes are available?
12R22.5 16PR, 295/80R22.5 16PR and 18PR, and 315/80R22.5 18PR and 20PR. Full load index, rim and pressure data for each is in the size table on this page.
Is this tyre legal for highway use?
It carries the L and M speed symbols, which are required for highway operation. Confirm your own national regulation before ordering.
Can you supply DOT or ECE marked tyres?
Marking requirements vary by destination. Tell us the import market and we confirm what marking the plant can supply on that size before you place the order.
What warranty do you give?
One year against manufacturing defect on all tyres we supply, with claims handled by us directly. Cargo transportation insurance is provided on the shipment itself.
Can you ship a mixed container with other patterns?
Yes. Most of our customers load one container across several patterns and sizes, which is the main reason to buy through us rather than from a single plant.
