LL96-T
- 10 sizes
- Bias
LL96-T is a bias truck and bus tyre designed for medium-duty commercial vehicles operating on mixed routes with frequent stops and variable loads. The tread pattern balances rolling resistance with wear and crack resistance, and the construction supports consistent heat dissipation under sustained operation. 00-20, with ply ratings of 14, 16, and 18, and load indices from 118/114 to 158/154.

What LL96-T Is Built For
LL96-T is a bias truck and bus tyre designed for medium-duty commercial vehicles operating on mixed routes with frequent stops and variable loads. The tread pattern balances rolling resistance with wear and crack resistance, and the construction supports consistent heat dissipation under sustained operation. It is available in ten sizes from 7.00-16LT to 13.00-20, with ply ratings of 14, 16, and 18, and load indices from 118/114 to 158/154. The tyre is suitable for urban delivery, regional haul, and municipal fleet use where consistent casing life and predictable performance are required.
Manufacturer Feature Claims
- Low rolling resistance
- Good Wear and crack resistance
- Good heat dissipation
Key Benefits
- Low rolling resistance reduces fuel consumption on city and regional routes
- Good wear and crack resistance extends casing life under stop-start duty
- Good heat dissipation helps prevent thermal breakdown during prolonged operation
- Eight sizes in 16-inch and 20-inch diameters cover most medium-duty truck and bus applications
- Load index up to 158/154 supports axle loads of 4250 kg single at 770 kPa on the 13.00-20 fitment
Problems It Solves
- High rolling resistance in standard bias tyres increases fuel cost on stop-start routes
- Crack formation in tread and shoulder areas reduces casing life on vehicles with frequent braking
- Heat build-up in the casing leads to premature failure on long or heavy-duty runs
- Lack of consistent load capacity across sizes forces multiple SKUs in stock
- Multiple suppliers and paperwork for different sizes increase procurement complexity
Who It Is For

- Distributors supplying replacement tyres for commercial vehicles with mixed-duty use
- Municipal and government buyers procuring tyres for city buses and service fleets
- Importers sourcing a single bias pattern that covers multiple vehicle types and axle positions
- Contractors buying tyres for service vehicles used on construction sites and maintenance routes
Application Scenarios
- Urban delivery trucks making frequent stops in city centres with mixed pavement and uneven surfaces
- Regional haul trucks running 100 to 300 km per day on paved roads with occasional gravel access
- Municipal buses operating on city routes with high stop frequency and variable axle loading
- Fleets of service vans and utility vehicles used for maintenance and repair work on roads and sites
- School and shuttle buses operating on mixed surfaces with moderate speeds and frequent braking
Technical Features
- Bias construction with a tread pattern designed for low rolling resistance and wear balance
- Tread compound formulated for resistance to cracking under repeated flexing
- Sidewall and casing construction designed to dissipate heat under sustained operation
- Tread depth ranges from 19.0 mm to 27.0 mm, with 27.0 mm on the 11.00-20 and 12.00-20 sizes
- Section width from 200 mm to 340 mm, with overall diameter from 785 mm to 1200 mm across sizes

Where This Pattern Wins and Where It Does Not
Compared With Standard bias tyres without low rolling resistance
LL96-T reduces fuel cost on city and regional routes where stop-start driving is common
Compared With High-lug off-road bias tyres
LL96-T has shallower tread and better heat dissipation, making it more suitable for paved and mixed surfaces
Compared With Radial truck tyres
LL96-T offers lower cost and better performance on low-speed, high-stop-duty applications where radial cost and wear are not justified
Use Guide
- Match ply rating to your actual axle load, not to the heaviest tyre available - overspecifying increases cost and ride harshness
- Check the standard rim listed against your wheel: 5.50F for 7.00-16LT, 6.00G for 7.50-16LT, 6.50H for 8.25-16LT, and so on
- Inflate to the pressure shown for your load in the size table; dual and single fitment pressures differ
- Rotate tyres before irregular wear sets in, especially on fleets with one-way or uneven load distribution
- Inspect tread and shoulder areas regularly for early signs of cracking, particularly on vehicles with frequent braking
LL96-T Buying Questions
What is the minimum order quantity?
We load by full container. A 40HQ of 7.00-16LT or 13.00-20 typically fills at container weight rather than volume, so the practical minimum is one container. Mixed loads across sizes and patterns are accepted.
What is the lead time?
It depends on whether the size is in stock at the plant or has to be produced. We confirm current availability with the plant at the time of quotation rather than quoting a standard figure.
Which sizes are available?
7.00-16LT, 7.50-16LT, 8.25-16LT, 8.25-20, 9.00-20, 11.00-20, 12.00-20, 13.00-20. Full load index, rim, pressure, and pressure data for each is in the size table on this page.
Can you supply DOT or ECE marked tyres?
Marking requirements vary by destination. Tell us the import market and we confirm what marking the plant can supply on that size before you place the order.
What warranty do you give?
One year against manufacturing defect on all tyres we supply, with claims handled by us directly. Cargo transportation insurance is provided on the shipment itself.
Can you ship a mixed container with other patterns?
Yes. Most of our customers load one container across several patterns and sizes, which is the main reason to buy through us rather than from a single plant.
Is this tyre suitable for off-road use?
It is designed for on-road and mixed-surface duty. It is not intended for deep mud, rock, or heavy off-road conditions.
