Overview

What LL47 Is Built For

LL47 is a bias truck and bus tyre designed for medium-duty commercial vehicles operating on mixed routes with frequent stops and variable loads. The tread pattern is engineered for consistent wear and resistance to cracking under repeated thermal stress, while the construction supports lower rolling resistance and improved heat dissipation during sustained operation. It is available in 14 sizes across 7.00-20 to 12.00-20, with ply ratings from 10 to 18, load indices up to 154/150, and speed symbols G, G/K, or K/L. The tyre is suitable for front and drive axle positions on regional delivery trucks, city buses, and utility vehicles that operate in urban and semi-urban environments with moderate road conditions.

  • Bias casing construction as supplied by the manufacturing plant
  • Tread compound rated for wear and crack resistance under repeated thermal stress
  • Sidewall and belt construction designed for good heat dissipation during sustained operation
How ordering works

From Size List to Loaded Container

1

Confirm size, ply rating, and load index against your vehicle’s axle load and rim width

2

We quote FOB or CIF based on your load port and confirm current plant availability

3

Production or stock allocation is confirmed with the plant before deposit payment

4

Container is loaded, insured, and shipped with full export documentation and certificate of origin

Quality control

Quality and After Sales

  • Every tyre supplied carries a one year warranty against manufacturing defect
  • Warranty claims are handled directly by us, not passed back to the plant
  • Cargo transportation insurance is arranged on every shipment
  • DOT, ECE, and other marking requirements are confirmed against your import market before loading
Customisation

Customisation Options

  • Mixed container loading across sizes, patterns, and brands to match your order book
  • Certificate of origin issued to suit your import duty position
  • Sidewall branding and private label subject to plant minimum order quantity
  • Label, marking, and packaging adjusted to the destination market requirement
Honest comparison

Where This Pattern Wins and Where It Does Not

Compared With Standard bias tyres without wear and crack resistance claims

LL47 maintains casing integrity longer under repeated thermal and mechanical stress, reducing early failure

Compared With Radial truck tyres with similar load index

LL47 has lower rolling resistance than many bias tyres but is not as fuel-efficient as radial patterns

Compared With High-speed radial tyres with G or H speed symbols

LL47 is limited to G, G/K, and K/L speed symbols, so it is not suitable for highway-long-haul applications

Fitting and use

Use Guide

  • Match ply rating to your actual axle load, not to the highest rating available - overspecifying increases cost and reduces ride comfort
  • Check the standard rim listed against your wheel: 5.5 for 7.00-20, 6.5 for 8.25-20, 6.50H for 8.25-16LT, etc.
  • Inflate to the pressure shown in the size table for your load; dual and single fitment pressures differ
  • Inspect tread and sidewall for cracks after every 5000 km of operation, especially in hot climates
  • Rotate tyres before irregular wear sets in, particularly on fleets with one-way loading patterns
Questions

LL47 Buying Questions

What is the minimum order quantity?

We load by full container. A 40HQ of 7.00-20 or 12.00-20 typically fills at container weight rather than volume, so the practical minimum is one container. Mixed loads across sizes and patterns are accepted.

What is the lead time?

It depends on whether the size is in stock at the plant or has to be produced. We confirm current availability with the plant at the time of quotation rather than quoting a standard figure.

Which sizes are available?

14 sizes: 7.00-20, 8.25-20, 8.25-16LT, 9.00-20, 10.00-20, 11.00-20, 12.00-20. Ply ratings from 10 to 18. Full load index, rim, and pressure data for each is in the size table on this page.

Can you supply DOT or ECE marked tyres?

Marking requirements vary by destination. Tell us the import market and we confirm what marking the plant can supply on that size before you place the order.

What warranty do you give?

One year against manufacturing defect on all tyres we supply, with claims handled by us directly. Cargo transportation insurance is provided on the shipment itself.

Can you ship a mixed container with other patterns?

Yes. Most of our customers load one container across several patterns and sizes, which is the main reason to buy through us rather than from a single plant.

Is this tyre suitable for highway use?

It carries speed symbols G, G/K, and K/L, which are suitable for regional and urban routes. It is not rated for sustained high-speed highway operation.
