LL62 is a bias light truck tyre designed for commercial vehicles that operate on mixed-duty routes including urban delivery, regional haul, and light off-road access. The tread pattern provides consistent wear and crack resistance under variable loads and road conditions, while the lateral grip feature supports stability during cornering on uneven surfaces.

What LL62 Is Built For
LL62 is a bias light truck tyre designed for commercial vehicles that operate on mixed-duty routes including urban delivery, regional haul, and light off-road access. The tread pattern provides consistent wear and crack resistance under variable loads and road conditions, while the lateral grip feature supports stability during cornering on uneven surfaces. It is available in two ply ratings, 14 and 16, for 7.50-16LT size, with load capacities up to 1700 kg single at 850 kPa. The tyre is built for light trucks and utility vehicles that require durability across city streets, gravel access roads, and temporary unpaved routes.
Manufacturer Feature Claims
- Wear and crack resistance
- Lateral grip
Key Benefits
- Wear and crack resistance extends casing life under variable load and surface conditions
- Lateral grip improves stability during cornering on uneven or unpaved surfaces
- Two ply ratings (14 and 16) allow matching to axle load and vehicle duty
- Consistent tread depth of 16.0 mm across both sizes ensures predictable wear
- Standard rim 6.00G fits most light truck and utility vehicle wheels
Problems It Solves
- Tyres with poor crack resistance fail prematurely in high-temperature or high-vibration environments
- Lack of lateral grip leads to instability when cornering on uneven or loose surfaces
- Single ply rating options force overspecification or underspecification for different load levels
- Short casing life on mixed-duty routes increases total cost of ownership
- Inconsistent tread depth across sizes leads to uneven wear and early replacement
Who It Is For
- Tyre distributors supplying light commercial vehicle fleets in Asia, Africa, and South America
- Fleet operators replacing tyres that fail due to cracking or lateral instability
- Importers sourcing bias tyres for light trucks with mixed on- and off-road use
- Government and municipal buyers procuring tyres for utility and service vehicles
Application Scenarios
- Urban delivery vans and light trucks running daily on paved roads with occasional gravel access
- Regional haul trucks serving rural distribution points with unpaved feeder roads
- Utility vehicles used in construction, agriculture, or municipal services on mixed surfaces
- Fleets operating light trucks in markets with high temperature variation and road debris
- Vehicles requiring a durable tyre that resists cracking in hot climates and heavy load cycles
Technical Features
- Bias construction with wear and crack resistance as stated by the manufacturer
- Lateral grip performance designed for stability during cornering on mixed surfaces
- Tread depth of 16.0 mm on both size and ply combinations for consistent wear
- Section width of 215 mm and overall diameter of 816 mm for consistent fitment
- Rim size 6.00G standard for compatibility with common light truck wheels

- Label, marking, and packaging adjusted to the destination market requirement
Where This Pattern Wins and Where It Does Not
Compared With Radial light truck tyres
LL62 offers lower rolling resistance and better fuel efficiency in radial designs, but bias construction provides better durability on rough surfaces and higher impact resistance
Compared With Other bias tyres with lower ply ratings
The 16PR version supports higher load and pressure, reducing the risk of casing failure under heavy or sustained duty
Compared With Tyres without lateral grip features
LL62 maintains stability during cornering on uneven or loose terrain, reducing the risk of rollover or loss of control
Use Guide
- Match ply rating to your actual axle load: 14PR for up to 1500 kg single, 16PR for up to 1700 kg single
- Inflate to the pressure shown in the size table for your load: 730 kPa for 14PR, 850 kPa for 16PR
- Check inflation pressure weekly, especially before long hauls or in high ambient temperatures
- Inspect tread and sidewall for cracks after exposure to extreme heat or heavy loads
- Rotate tyres before irregular wear sets in, particularly on vehicles with one-sided load patterns
LL62 Buying Questions
What is the minimum order quantity?
We load by full container. A 40HQ of 7.50-16LT typically fills at container weight rather than volume, so the practical minimum is one container. Mixed loads across sizes and patterns are accepted.
What is the lead time?
It depends on whether the size is in stock at the plant or has to be produced. We confirm current availability with the plant at the time of quotation rather than quoting a standard figure.
Which sizes are available?
7.50-16LT in 14PR (Load Index 122/118) and 16PR (Load Index 126/123). Full load index, rim, and pressure data for each is in the size table on this page.
Can you supply DOT or ECE marked tyres?
Marking requirements vary by destination. Tell us the import market and we confirm what marking the plant can supply on that size before you place the order.
What warranty do you give?
One year against manufacturing defect on all tyres we supply, with claims handled by us directly. Cargo transportation insurance is provided on the shipment itself.
Can you ship a mixed container with other patterns?
Yes. Most of our customers load one container across several patterns and sizes, which is the main reason to buy through us rather than from a single plant.
Is this tyre suitable for off-road use?
It is designed for light truck duty on mixed surfaces including gravel and unpaved access roads. It is not intended for heavy off-road or mining applications.
