LL3 is a bias truck and bus tyre designed for regional haul, urban delivery and stop-start operations where consistent wear, resistance to cracking and reliable lateral grip are required. The tread pattern and construction support steady performance under frequent braking and cornering, with a focus on maintaining casing integrity over time.

What LL3 Is Built For
LL3 is a bias truck and bus tyre designed for regional haul, urban delivery and stop-start operations where consistent wear, resistance to cracking and reliable lateral grip are required. The tread pattern and construction support steady performance under frequent braking and cornering, with a focus on maintaining casing integrity over time. Tread depth is 15.0 mm across both size and ply rating combinations, supporting long service life under moderate to heavy loads. It is supplied in two sizes: 8.25-20 with 10 and 14 ply ratings, covering a range of light to medium-duty commercial vehicles operating in mixed urban and rural environments.
Manufacturer Feature Claims
- Wear and crack resistance
- Lateral grip
- Good heat dissipation
Key Benefits
- 15.0 mm tread depth provides extended service life under moderate to heavy duty
- Wear and crack resistance helps maintain casing integrity over time
- Lateral grip supports stability during frequent braking and cornering
- Good heat dissipation reduces risk of overheating in stop-start operations
- Two ply rating options (10 and 14) allow matching to axle load and service conditions
Problems It Solves
- Cracking in the tread and shoulder areas due to repeated stress and heat buildup
- Premature wear from lateral forces during frequent cornering and braking
- Inconsistent casing life when using tyres not designed for stop-start duty
- Mismatch between ply rating and actual axle load leading to early casing failure
- Lack of heat dissipation in tyres used for frequent urban stops and starts
Who It Is For
- Tyre distributors supplying regional haul and urban delivery fleets
- Fleet operators managing light to medium-duty trucks with stop-start duty
- Bus operators in cities where frequent braking and cornering are common
- Importers buying tyres by container for mixed vehicle applications
- Contractors needing tyres with proven resistance to cracking under repeated stress
Application Scenarios
- Urban delivery fleets operating in mixed traffic with frequent stops and turns
- Regional haul trucks running between city distribution hubs and rural depots
- City bus and shuttle operations with high stop-start frequency and tight turning radii
- Construction site transport vehicles moving between loading points on uneven surfaces
- Fleets requiring consistent casing life across multiple tyre replacements
Technical Features
- Bias construction with wear and crack resistance as a stated feature
- Lateral grip performance supported by tread pattern and casing design
- Good heat dissipation as a stated feature, reducing thermal stress
- Tread depth of 15.0 mm across both size and ply rating combinations
- Two size and ply rating combinations available: 8.25-20 10PR and 8.25-20 14PR

- Label, marking and packaging adjusted to the destination market requirement
Where This Pattern Wins and Where It Does Not
Compared With Radial truck tyres for similar duty
Bias construction offers lower initial cost and better performance in stop-start environments, but radial tyres typically have longer tread life and better fuel efficiency
Compared With High ply bias tyres for heavy haul
LL3 is designed for light to medium duty; higher ply ratings are needed for heavy-duty applications with higher axle loads
Compared With Tyres with lower tread depth
15.0 mm tread depth provides longer service life than tyres with shallower tread, especially under frequent braking and cornering
Use Guide
- Match ply rating to your actual axle load; do not overspecify to avoid unnecessary cost and harsh ride
- Check rim width against your wheel: standard rim is 6.5 for both sizes
- Inflate to the pressure shown for your load in the size table; dual and single fitment pressures differ
- Inspect tread and shoulder areas regularly for early signs of cracking, especially after long urban runs
- Rotate tyres before irregular wear sets in, particularly on vehicles with uneven load distribution
LL3 Buying Questions
What is the minimum order quantity?
We load by full container. A 40HQ of 8.25-20 typically fills at container weight rather than volume, so the practical minimum is one container. Mixed loads across sizes and patterns are accepted.
What is the lead time?
It depends on whether the size is in stock at the plant or has to be produced. We confirm current availability with the plant at the time of quotation rather than quoting a standard figure.
Which sizes are available?
8.25-20 in 10 ply rating and 14 ply rating. Full load index, rim and pressure data for each is in the size table on this page.
Can you supply DOT or ECE marked tyres?
Marking requirements vary by destination. Tell us the import market and we confirm what marking the plant can supply on that size before you place the order.
What warranty do you give?
One year against manufacturing defect on all tyres we supply, with claims handled by us directly. Cargo transportation insurance is provided on the shipment itself.
Can you ship a mixed container with other patterns?
Yes. Most of our customers load one container across several patterns and sizes, which is the main reason to buy through us rather than from a single plant.
Is this tyre suitable for high-speed highway use?
Speed symbol G indicates a maximum speed of 160 km/h. It is suitable for highway use but is optimized for regional and urban duty with frequent stops and turns.
