Nepheline syenite and feldspar serve as flux materials in enamel frit formulations — providing SiO2, Al2O3, Na2O, and K2O to the glass composition. Our GP20 grade is particularly valuable for enamel frit production due to its five-oxide contribution (including CaO) from a single material, simplifying batch calculations and improving batch homogeneity. The absence of free silica in nepheline is an additional safety advantage for enamel frit production facilities.
