Open pit mining
Drill-and-blast at Jiulongshan. Hydraulic excavators load haul trucks that carry ore about 500 metres downhill to the crushing station.
Primary and secondary crushing
A jaw crusher handles boulders up to 800 mm down to roughly 150 mm; a cone crusher reduces that to the 10-20 mm wet milling feed size.
Wet ball milling
Slurry is ground to 100 mesh or 200 mesh. Wet grinding liberates iron-bearing inclusions trapped inside larger grains, which dry grinding cannot do.
Multi stage magnetic separation
Three stages of high-intensity wet separation take Fe2O3 from around 0.4% in raw ore to 0.08% in the finished K200 grade.
Classification and dewatering
Hydrocyclones control particle size; thickeners and filter presses remove water, which is recycled back to the grinding circuit.
Drying and packaging
Rotary dryers bring moisture below 1.0%. Product is packed into 1200 kg FIBC or 50 kg bags with grade and batch number on the label.
Testing and shipping
XRF, laser particle size, moisture and fired whiteness at 1200 degrees C on every batch, then storage and sealed container loading.
The Complex on the Hillside
The quarry sits above and the processing plant below, so gravity does part of the ore transport.
Questions About the Operation
Can I visit the factory?
Yes. Please book at least three working days ahead. Airport pickup can be arranged from Zhengzhou (CGO) or from Anyang station.
Are you a mine or a trading company?
A mine. Anyang County Kailong Mining Co., Ltd. has held its own government-issued mining licence since 2007 and runs mining, processing, sales and technical service in one company.
How do you keep quality consistent between shipments?
One deposit, one processing plant and 100% batch testing — XRF chemistry, laser particle size, moisture and fired whiteness at 1200 degrees C — with the results issued as a Certificate of Analysis.
Is the material independently tested?
In-house testing covers every batch. Critical export shipments are additionally verified by Foshan Youbo Ceramic Analysis & Testing Co., Ltd., an independent ceramic testing laboratory.
