What material are the cartridges made from?
Premium carbon steel or stainless steel substrate, deep quenched and chrome plated. We choose based on where the cartridge sits in the line.
Will it fit our existing leveling machine?
Cartridges are made to your machine drawing or sample, so they are matched to the existing envelope and roll count.
Can you supply a complete spare cartridge?
Yes. Many plants keep a spare so the machine restarts while the used cartridge is serviced off line.
What plating thickness do you apply?
Precision chrome plating at around 0.05 mm on the roll surfaces, over a deep quenched layer of around 5 mm.
