Product Overview
Stenter machines divide into clip stenters and pin stenters. A clip grips the fabric edge between a jaw and a knife instead of piercing it, which is why the edges of the cloth come out relatively flat and why clips suit thicker fabrics.
The working cycle is simple. At the infeed the clip is open. When the cloth enters, the knife of the clip closes and the cloth is held tightly. At the end of the machine the clip reopens and releases the fabric.
