Self-lubricating slider that rides the Artos guide rail, replacing the copper slider.
The slider is the part of the chain that rides the guide rail, so it decides how the chain behaves on the track. This is the PEEK version for Artos chains, supplied as a wear part for retrofitting as well as fitted to new chains.
PEEK resin is a high performance thermoplastic with high temperature resistance, wear resistance, self-lubrication, low noise, corrosion resistance and high strength, which is why it is widely used in the field of textile machinery.

PEEK against copper: PEEK is self-lubricating, quieter and longer lasting, but it wants a rail in good condition. Copper conducts heat away and copes better with surface defects on the rail. Inspect the rail before you decide, because rail condition matters more than price here.
Inspect and if necessary dress the guide rail before converting to PEEK
Convert a whole section so slider height is uniform
Clean the guide and chain at least once a year even with self-lubricating sliders
Keep the high temperature grease on the bearing side of the chain
Measure slider thickness at each service to track wear rate
Yes, the PEEK slider is supplied as a retrofit wear part. Convert a whole section at a time so slider height stays uniform.
Yes. PEEK does not tolerate a scored rail as well as copper does, so inspect and dress the rail before converting.
PEEK is low noise compared with a metal slider, which is one of the reasons it is widely used in textile machinery.
Yes, on the bearing side. The slider itself is self-lubricating.
Yes, from a sample or a drawing.
Within 7 days for standard sizes.

View DetailsSelf-lubrication, high temperature resistance and low noise are why PEEK took over the wear interfaces.
Seat profiles and geometry changed across frame generations, so the part itself is more reliable than a model number. We identify it and quote the matching specification.
