FX-12S High Precision Centerless Grinding Machine
Built for small parts, where high volume and tight size control meet.
- Grinding range (diameter)0.5 to 40 mm
- Grinding wheel size (dia x width x hole)305 x 150 x 120 mm

A producer of dowel pins and small ground shafts grinding between centres, where every part is loaded, clamped, ground and unloaded individually.
Batch sizes run to thousands of identical diameters at tolerances measured in microns. The clamping cycle, not the wheel, sets the throughput, and centre holes have to be drilled and protected before grinding can start at all.
The FX-12S covers 0.5 to 40 mm on a 305 mm wheel at 1950 rpm with a regulating wheel variable to 320 rpm, in a 1800 x 1400 mm footprint. Where parts run above 40 mm, the FX-18S covers 0.5 to 60 mm on a 455 mm wheel, holding form longer between dresses. Both carry micro feed graduated at 0.001 mm per scale division.
One set minimum, 15 to 45 working days after deposit. FX-12S packs at 2350 x 1650 x 1770 mm and 1850 kg gross, FX-18S at 2900 x 2400 x 1850 mm and 3005 kg gross.
Parts feed through continuously and size is corrected in 0.001 mm steps rather than by re setting a chuck. Figures quoted here are machine specifications, not measured results from a named customer installation.

The larger centerless machine in the range, covering 0.5 to 60 mm diameter.
