FX-18S High Precision Centerless Grinding Machine
The larger centerless machine in the range, covering 0.5 to 60 mm diameter.
- Grinding range (diameter)0.5 to 60 mm
- Grinding wheel size (dia x width x hole)455 x 205 x 228.6 mm

Built for small parts, where high volume and tight size control meet.

The FX-12S grinds from 0.5 mm to 40 mm diameter on a 305 x 150 x 120 mm wheel turning at 1950 rpm. The regulating wheel is variable from 0 to 320 rpm, which is a wider speed range than the larger FX-18S and suits the faster through feed small parts allow. At 1800 x 1400 x 1450 mm and 1700 kg net it installs in a far smaller footprint.
Who it is for: Small part producers in fastener, bearing, instrument and medical component manufacturing, and shops adding centerless capacity to an existing turning line without a major installation.
A higher wheel speed on a smaller diameter keeps surface speed where fine finishes need it on small parts.
The wider regulating range lets small diameter parts be fed through quickly without changing gears.
Upper and lower slide micro feed are both graduated at 0.001 mm per division, so size can be trimmed from either.
At 1700 kg net this machine goes into a production cell rather than needing a dedicated foundation.

Centerless grinding supports the part on its own diameter, so there is no chuck jaw mark on a finished surface.
Removing the load and unload cycle is what turns a batch of thousands from a week of work into a shift.
Micro feed at 0.001 mm per scale division on both slides gives the resolution small tolerances need.
Cast iron base with hardened ground slides, hydraulic infeed, independently driven grinding and regulating spindles. Blade and wheel specification matched to the part.

Six stages, each of them completed in our own hall in Shenzhen before the machine is crated.
The FX-12S is the smaller of the two centerless machines. The decision is diameter range and how long you want to run between dresses.
| Model | Key Specification | Best Suited To |
|---|---|---|
| FX-12S | 0.5 to 40 mm, 305 mm wheel at 1950 rpm, 1700 kg net | Small parts, compact installations |
| FX-18S | 0.5 to 60 mm, 455 mm wheel at 1520 rpm, 2850 kg net | Larger diameters, longer dress intervals |
| WK1420x500 | Between centres to 200 mm OD | Mixed batches and bore concentricity |
It carries the same 0.001 mm micro feed graduation as the larger FX-18S. The limits in practice come from wheel condition, blade setup and coolant more than from frame size.
40 mm. Above that the FX-18S covers up to 60 mm on a larger wheel.
1800 x 1400 x 1450 mm plus working space at the loading side, at 1700 kg net.
The wheel is smaller at 305 mm, so it turns at 1950 rpm to keep surface speed in the right range. The larger 455 mm wheel on the FX-18S runs at 1520 rpm for the same reason.
2350 x 1650 x 1770 mm at 1850 kg gross.
