Catalogue

Four groups, sixty-four tooled parts

The split that matters is whether a pad has a metal face. Sport pads do; rubber and plastic pads do not. Everything else here is the moulded work around the pedal box.

What we actually do

Rubber and injection moulding, with the metalwork to finish it

We are focused on rubber and injection moulding mainly, but stamping, welding and assembly of any type is possible. Our plants, together with a team of designers and experienced manufacturing leaders, are based in Shanghai and Beijing.

We produce various types of sports pads including overmoulded finisher plates and press fit finishers. Brushed aluminium, sand blasted stainless and polished stainless are the most popular face finishes; on the polymer side we run PP with or without glass reinforcement, PVC, TPE, TPE-SEBS, EPDM and SBR.

  • Laser etching for steel components, colour printing for plastic
  • Laser cutting of thin material, CNC machining of thicker sheets
  • All tooling designed and made in house

The company

An international company with offices on three continents

Lee World has grown into an international company with several hundred employees across seven locations. Shanghai is home to our R&D centre, where development work is focused on delivering high-quality, cost-competitive products through our ISO/TS certified production facilities in Beijing, Shanghai and Wuhan.

Sales are handled from three offices: New York, the Czech Republic and Shanghai. Whichever one you write to, the parts come from the same two plants.

Questions buyers ask

What exactly does Lee World make?

Sport pads — accelerator, brake and clutch pads for cars — together with the moulded rubber and plastic parts around them: handles, grips, hoses, gear shift gators, cable ties and printed plastic components. We are focused on rubber and injection moulding, but stamping, welding and assembly of any type are also possible.

Are these parts available to buy off this catalogue?

They are existing tooled parts, so they can be quoted quickly. Most were developed for a specific customer programme, so tell us the part you are interested in and the volume, and we will confirm what can be supplied and on what terms.

Can you make a part that is not in this catalogue?

Yes, and it is most of what we do. Send a drawing in SolidWorks, Pro-E or UG — or a STEP file, or the physical sample. All tooling is designed and made in house, and we deliver parts from a prototype tool in 4 weeks.

Which quality standard do you work to?

Our production facilities in Beijing, Shanghai and Wuhan are ISO/TS certified, and we are experienced in PPAP according to ISO/TS 16949 or VDA, with customers based in North America and Europe. PPAP timing is typically 8 weeks.

Where are the parts actually made?

Rubber parts in the Beijing plant at Lucheng, HuangCun Town, Daxing; plastic parts in the Shanghai plant at 2158 Huqingping Rd, Qingpu District. Shanghai is also home to our R&D centre.

Send the drawing, or send the part

A drawing in SolidWorks, Pro-E or UG — or the sample itself. We will measure it, quote it and tell you if we already have the tool.
