Light Truck and Pickup
Larger pedal pads and heavier tread patterns for vehicles driven in work boots.
Bigger pedals, different tread
A pickup pedal pad is physically larger than a passenger-car pad, and it is used by a driver in a work boot rather than a driving shoe. That changes the tread: coarse ribs and large-pitch diamond lattices work where a fine pattern would simply be bridged by the sole.
What is in this catalogue
The F150 pad is the reference part — a single-shot moulding with no metal insert. Several of the numbered rubber pads use the same heavy-duty logic: coarse ribs that clear water and grit, and lattices deep enough to stay effective when they are partly filled.
Compound choices for this duty
EPDM for weather and ozone, SBR where cost governs, NBR where the pedal box sees oil. The grade is confirmed on the drawing before the tool is cut.

Do you supply this sector directly or through a tier one?
Both happen. Since 1998 we have supplied accelerator, brake and clutch pads to some of the biggest names in the automotive industry, and we also work with the assemblers who build the pedal boxes those pads go into.
What certification applies?
Our production facilities in Beijing, Shanghai and Wuhan are ISO/TS certified, and we run PPAP to ISO/TS 16949 or VDA, typically over 8 weeks.
How do I start?
Send a drawing in SolidWorks, Pro-E or UG, or the sample part. We will come back with a quotation and, where useful, suggestions for improving the part.
Working on light truck and pickup?
Tell us the part and the annual volume. We will say straight away whether it is already tooled here.
