Moulding plus assembly
Some of these parts leave as a single moulding; others leave as a finished assembly with the metal mechanism fitted in our plant. The FIAT handle exists in this catalogue in both forms, which is the clearest illustration of the difference in price and lead time.
Where the printing capability shows
Colour printing on plastic components is one of the technologies at our disposal, and the printed dial in the Plastic Parts group is that capability on a real part — multi-colour graphics registered to the moulded features around them.
Long parts are a warpage problem
A long lever moulding will bow if it is gated in the wrong place. We thicken the mounting foot and gate at the heavy end; on a new part that decision is made at prototype tool stage, 4 weeks from go-ahead.

Do you supply this sector directly or through a tier one?
Both happen. Since 1998 we have supplied accelerator, brake and clutch pads to some of the biggest names in the automotive industry, and we also work with the assemblers who build the pedal boxes those pads go into.
What certification applies?
Our production facilities in Beijing, Shanghai and Wuhan are ISO/TS certified, and we run PPAP to ISO/TS 16949 or VDA, typically over 8 weeks.
How do I start?
Send a drawing in SolidWorks, Pro-E or UG, or the sample part. We will come back with a quotation and, where useful, suggestions for improving the part.
