Seven motorcycle rubber parts carried to YAMAHA part numbers, each with its compound code.
Outside the pedal box
Grips, moulded hoses, gear shift gators, motorcycle ducts and covers, cable ties and printed plastic components. Different parts, same two plants: rubber in Beijing, plastics in Shanghai.
Motorcycle rubber lives outdoors
The YAMAHA parts here are quoted against the customer's own part numbers and carry their compound code on the part — EP40 through EP80 for the EPDM grades, NBR70 where the part sees fuel or oil, CI60 on the thickest section. That is three different service conditions on one machine.
Printing and marking
Colour printing on plastic components is one of the technologies at our disposal, and laser etching covers the steel side. Both are applied after the part is finished, registered to the moulded features rather than to a fixture.
