What to put in the first email

There is no form on this site on purpose — a form loses your attachments and delays the reply by a day. Write to us directly and include what you have:

  • The part: a name from this catalogue, a drawing, or a photograph of the sample
  • Annual volume, and whether it is a running part or a new programme
  • Service conditions — weather, oil or fuel contact, temperature
  • Compound and Shore A hardness if they are already fixed; if not, we will propose them
  • Whether PPAP is required, and to ISO/TS 16949 or VDA
  • Delivery country and required date

CAD in SolidWorks, Pro-E or UG is read natively; STEP is fine. Prototype parts follow 4 weeks after a prototype tool.

Is there an enquiry form?

No, deliberately. Email reaches the person who answers it, keeps your attachments intact and gives you a record of what you asked.

Which office answers fastest?

The one in your time zone. Marika Routledge in the Czech Republic handles global sales, Jerry Yang in Shanghai covers Asia, and Lisa Luo is at the New York head office.

What are your working hours?

The three offices between them cover most of the working day across Europe, North America and Asia. If you need a specific time, say so in your first email.

Can I visit the plant?

Visits to the Shanghai and Beijing plants can be arranged. Write to the office nearest you with the dates you have in mind.
