How do I size a turnbuckle correctly?
Size by the diameter of the threaded rod that enters the body. The take-up length—the total adjustment range—is specified separately. Do not size by overall length or eye diameter.
What is the difference between galvanised and stainless steel turnbuckles?
Galvanised steel has a zinc coating for corrosion resistance in dry or moderate environments. Stainless steel offers superior resistance in marine, offshore, or high-humidity conditions but at a higher cost.
