The safety factor is 5:1, 6:1, 7:1 or 8:1 depending on the product line. The minimum breaking load is always at least five times the WLL.
How do I read the WLL on a round sling?
The WLL is stamped on the sling along with the material, serial number and EWL. It is the maximum load the sling is rated for under normal conditions.
Can you customise the length or marking?
Yes. Custom lengths, custom marking (including your brand and serial number), and custom packing are available. Send the drawing or specification.
Do you supply Material Test Certificates?
Yes. A Material Test Certificate to EN 10204 3.1 is issued with each batch on request. It includes material strength and test results.
What is the difference between EWL and total loop length?
Effective Working Length (EWL) is the distance between the two eyes when the sling is laid flat. Total loop length is the full circumference and is not used in load calculations.
What is the minimum order quantity?
