Working Load Limit is the maximum safe load the D-ring is designed to carry under normal conditions. It is calculated by dividing the minimum breaking load by the design factor, which is 4:1 for rigging hardware unless otherwise stated.
What is the difference between Grade 43 and Grade 70 steel?
Grade 43 and Grade 70 refer to the tensile strength of the steel. Grade 70 has a higher yield and tensile strength than Grade 43, making it suitable for higher load applications. The WLL is based on the material grade.
Can you custom stamp the WLL and tonnage on the D-ring?
Yes. Custom tonnage stamping is available on all D-ring lines. The WLL and material grade are stamped on the ring in accordance with standard marking practices. Provide the required stamping layout and WLL for confirmation.
What surface finishes are available for D-rings?
