RADIAL620 is a radial light truck tyre designed for off-road use on passenger cars and light trucks. It is built for drivers who operate on gravel, dirt, or uneven terrain while maintaining acceptable performance on paved roads. The tread pattern provides grip in loose surfaces and resists hydroplaning on wet roads.

What RADIAL620 Is Built For
RADIAL620 is a radial light truck tyre designed for off-road use on passenger cars and light trucks. It is built for drivers who operate on gravel, dirt, or uneven terrain while maintaining acceptable performance on paved roads. The tread pattern provides grip in loose surfaces and resists hydroplaning on wet roads. The bead area is reinforced to withstand the impacts and flexing common in off-road conditions. It is available in two sizes: 185R14C and 195R14C, both with a ply rating of 8 and load index 102/100 or 106/104, suitable for light-duty commercial and utility vehicles that travel on mixed surfaces.
Manufacturer Feature Claims
- Excellent traction
- Skid prevention on wet road
- Robust structure to improve bead durability
Key Benefits
- Tread pattern designed for off-road traction and wet road skid prevention
- Reinforced bead structure improves durability under off-road impacts
- 8 ply rating provides sufficient strength for light truck duty on rough terrain
- Load index 106/104 supports up to 925 kg single load on the 195R14C size
- Standard rim 5 1/2J ensures compatibility with common light truck wheels
Problems It Solves
- Standard passenger car tyres fail quickly on gravel or dirt due to inadequate bead strength and tread wear
- Lack of wet grip on off-road routes increases risk of skidding in rain or mud
- Single-purpose tyres require seasonal or route-specific changes, increasing stock and fitting complexity
- Low load index or weak bead construction leads to early casing failure on rough terrain
- Inconsistent tyre performance across paved and unpaved surfaces reduces vehicle reliability
Who It Is For
- Tyre distributors supplying light truck and utility vehicle fleets in off-road markets
- Fleet managers replacing tyres that fail due to bead damage or poor traction on dirt
- Importers sourcing tyres for light commercial vehicles used in mixed-surface environments
- Government or municipal buyers for light-duty support vehicles in rural or remote areas
Application Scenarios
- Utility vehicles used in rural or agricultural areas with unsealed access roads
- Light delivery vans operating on gravel or dirt routes with occasional paved sections
- Small commercial vans used in construction site support with off-road access
- Fleet operators managing light trucks that travel from paved roads to unpaved job sites
- Private owners using light trucks for off-grid travel or weekend recreation on rough terrain
Technical Features
- Radial construction with 8 ply rating for durability under off-road load and flex
- Tread pattern optimized for traction on loose surfaces and resistance to hydroplaning
- Reinforced bead area to resist damage from impacts and repeated flexing
- Standard rim 5 1/2J ensures proper fitment on common light truck wheels
- Tread depth of 8.7 mm on 185R14C and 8.9 mm on 195R14C for extended wear on rough terrain

Where This Pattern Wins and Where It Does Not
Compared With Standard passenger car radial tyres
RADIAL620 has a reinforced bead and deeper tread for off-road durability; standard car tyres wear quickly and fail on gravel or mud
Compared With Heavy-duty off-road truck tyres
RADIAL620 is lighter and more suited to light trucks; heavy-duty patterns are noisy and wear faster on paved roads
Compared With All-season passenger tyres
RADIAL620 offers better traction on loose surfaces and improved bead strength; all-season tyres lack off-road capability and are prone to bead damage
Use Guide
- Match the ply rating and load index to your vehicle’s axle load and rim width
- Inflate to 450 kPa for both sizes; do not exceed the maximum pressure listed
- Inspect the bead area after off-road use for signs of impact damage or bulging
- Rotate tyres before uneven wear becomes visible, especially on vehicles with one-way loads
- Check tread depth regularly; 8.7 mm and 8.9 mm provide good wear life on mixed surfaces
RADIAL620 Buying Questions
What is the minimum order quantity?
We load by full container. A 40HQ of 185R14C or 195R14C typically fills at container weight rather than volume, so the practical minimum is one container. Mixed loads across sizes and patterns are accepted.
What is the lead time?
It depends on whether the size is in stock at the plant or has to be produced. We confirm current availability with the plant at the time of quotation rather than quoting a standard figure.
Which sizes are available?
185R14C and 195R14C, both with a ply rating of 8, load index 102/100 and 106/104, and speed symbol Q. Full load and pressure data for each is in the size table.
Is this tyre suitable for paved roads?
Yes. It performs on paved roads but is optimized for off-road use. It provides better traction on gravel and wet dirt than standard passenger car tyres.
Can you supply DOT or ECE marked tyres?
Marking requirements vary by destination. Tell us the import market and we confirm what marking the plant can supply on that size before you place the order.
What warranty do you give?
One year against manufacturing defect on all tyres we supply, with claims handled by us directly. Cargo transportation insurance is provided on the shipment itself.
Can you ship a mixed container with other patterns?
Yes. Most of our customers load one container across several patterns and sizes, which is the main reason to buy through us rather than from a single plant.
