Where This Pattern Wins and Where It Does Not
Compared With Bias tyres for light trucks
Radial construction offers longer tread life and better fuel efficiency on high-grade roads, though bias tyres may be cheaper upfront
Compared With Heavy-duty truck tyres like TBR or OTR patterns
LLF26 is not designed for off-road or high-impact use; it performs better on paved roads but lacks the casing strength for rough terrain
Compared With Other radial patterns for regional use
LLF26 offers a broader size range and higher load index options, particularly in 9.5R17.5 and 8R19.5, which may not be available in competing patterns
Use Guide
- Match ply rating to your actual axle load, not to the highest available rating – overspecifying increases cost and ride harshness
- Check the standard rim (M or L) listed against your wheel: M for 8.25R15TR, 7.50R16LT, 8.5R17.5, 9.5R17.5, 8R19.5; L for 8.25R16LT
- Inflate to the pressure shown for your load in the size table; dual and single fitment pressures differ
- Rotate tyres before irregular wear sets in, especially on fleets with uneven load distribution
- Inspect tread depth regularly; the 203 mm depth in 8R19.5 indicates a shorter wear life compared to deeper patterns
LLF26-Light Truck Buying Questions
What is the minimum order quantity?
We load by full container. A 40HQ of 8.25R16LT or 9.5R17.5 typically fills at container weight rather than volume, so the practical minimum is one container. Mixed loads across sizes and patterns are accepted.
What is the lead time?
It depends on whether the size is in stock at the plant or has to be produced. We confirm current availability with the plant at the time of quotation rather than quoting a standard figure.
Which sizes are available?
8.25R15TR, 7.50R16LT, 8.25R16LT, 8.5R17.5, 9.5R17.5, 8R19.5. Ply ratings from 12 to 18, load indices up to 143/141. Full load index, rim, pressure, and diameter data for each size is in the size table.
Can you supply DOT or ECE marked tyres?
Marking requirements vary by destination. Tell us the import market and we confirm what marking the plant can supply on that size before you place the order.
What warranty do you give?
One year against manufacturing defect on all tyres we supply, with claims handled by us directly. Cargo transportation insurance is provided on the shipment itself.
Can you ship a mixed container with other patterns?
Yes. Most of our customers load one container across several patterns and sizes, which is the main reason to buy through us rather than from a single plant.
Is this tyre suitable for off-road use?
No. It is designed for medium trucks running on high-grade roads. It is not built for off-road, quarry, or agricultural use.
