What LL27 Is Built For
LL27 is a bias agricultural tyre designed for multiple functions on small to medium farm machinery. It is built for use on tractors, sprayers, and utility vehicles operating in field conditions with moderate load and variable terrain. The tread pattern supports traction in soft soil while maintaining stability on paved access roads. Two sizes are available: 4.50-14 and 5.50-16, with ply ratings of 8 and 10. The tyre carries the A6 speed symbol, suitable for low-speed agricultural operations. Tread depth is 602 mm for the 4.50-14 and 685 mm for the 5.50-16, providing long wear in demanding field use.
Manufacturer Feature Claims
- Multiple Functions
Key Benefits
- Multiple functions support use across different farm tasks without needing separate tyres
- Tread depth of 602 mm and 685 mm provides long service life in soft soil and mixed terrain
- Ply ratings of 8 and 10 offer load capacity suitable for small to medium agricultural machinery
- A6 speed symbol ensures compliance with low-speed operational requirements
- Two size options (4.50-14 and 5.50-16) cover common rim widths and axle positions on farm equipment
Problems It Solves
- Multiple tyre types needed for different farm tasks increase stock and fitting complexity
- Tread wear in soft soil reduces casing life when using general-purpose tyres
- Lack of load capacity in low-ply tyres leads to early casing failure under moderate loads
- Inconsistent performance across field and road use requires seasonal or task-specific tyre changes
- Single-purpose tyres increase inventory and complicate fleet management for small operators
Who It Is For
- Agricultural dealers supplying tyres to small and medium farms in Asia, Africa, South America and Europe
- Fleet operators managing a mixed fleet of tractors, sprayers and utility vehicles
- Importers sourcing tyres for multiple agricultural applications with a single container
- Distributors who need one pattern that covers both field and light road use
- Government or cooperative buyers procuring tyres for rural development or farm support programs
Application Scenarios
- Tractors used for ploughing, planting, and harvesting on soft or muddy fields
- Sprayers and fertilizer spreaders operating on unsealed access roads and field paths
- Utility vehicles moving between storage, barns, and fields on uneven ground
- Farms with mixed terrain that require one tyre to handle both field and road travel
- Small-scale agricultural contractors needing consistent performance across multiple tasks
Technical Features
- Bias construction with multiple function tread pattern for field and light road use
- Tread depth of 602 mm on 4.50-14 and 685 mm on 5.50-16 for extended wear in soft soil
- A6 speed symbol suitable for low-speed agricultural operations
- Ply ratings of 8 and 10 match typical load requirements for small to medium farm machinery
- Rim sizes 3.00D and 4.00E match common wheel widths on agricultural vehicles

Where This Pattern Wins and Where It Does Not
Compared With Dedicated field tyres with deep lugs
LL27 offers better road stability and lower rolling resistance on paved access roads due to its tread pattern and lower profile
Compared With General-purpose tyres with lower tread depth
LL27’s 602 mm and 685 mm tread depth provides longer wear in soft soil compared to standard agricultural tyres
Compared With Higher ply rating tyres for heavy-duty use
LL27’s 8 and 10 ply ratings are sufficient for small to medium farm machinery, avoiding over-specification and higher cost
Use Guide
- Match ply rating to your vehicle’s actual axle load and operating conditions
- Check rim size (3.00D or 4.00E) against your wheel before ordering
- Inflate to 825 kPa for all listed sizes and load capacities
- Inspect tread and sidewall after each field cycle for embedded debris or damage
- Rotate tyres between positions if irregular wear develops, especially on uneven terrain
LL27 Buying Questions
What is the minimum order quantity?
We load by full container. A 40HQ of 4.50-14 or 5.50-16 typically fills at container weight rather than volume, so the practical minimum is one container. Mixed loads across sizes and patterns are accepted.
What is the lead time?
It depends on whether the size is in stock at the plant or has to be produced. We confirm current availability with the plant at the time of quotation rather than quoting a standard figure.
Which sizes are available?
4.50-14 in 8PR, and 5.50-16 in 8PR and 10PR. Full load, pressure, width and diameter data for each is in the size table on this page.
Is this tyre suitable for road use?
Yes. The A6 speed symbol and tread pattern support low-speed travel on paved access roads and farm tracks. It is not designed for high-speed highway use.
Can you supply DOT or ECE marked tyres?
Marking requirements vary by destination. Tell us the import market and we confirm what marking the plant can supply on that size before you place the order.
What warranty do you give?
One year against manufacturing defect on all tyres we supply, with claims handled by us directly. Cargo transportation insurance is provided on the shipment itself.
Can you ship a mixed container with other patterns?
Yes. Most of our customers load one container across several patterns and sizes, which is the main reason to buy through us rather than from a single plant.
