African customers explore composting solutions in Suzhou
Customers from Africa visited the Creeks composter factory to explore food waste composting solutions for their region.
Decentralised composting is particularly relevant where centralised waste infrastructure is still being built out - a machine that processes waste where it is produced does not depend on a collection network that may not exist yet.
The visiting group came to the Suzhou plant to look at the range across capacities, from commercial machines for hotels and canteens through to the industrial systems suited to municipal programmes, and to discuss what installation and support look like at distance.
As with every factory visit, the conversation covered the unglamorous parts too: power supply, spare parts, microbial medium replenishment and operator training.
