CR-100 processes 100 to 120 kg of food waste a day, which is 40 tonnes a year, in a 400 L composting chamber. It is a completely stand-alone unit built for commercial sites: fill it, shut it, and 12 to 24 hours later the waste has been reduced by 80-90% and converted to compost. It handles food scraps, meat, skins, fish scraps, soft bones, cardboard and compostable packaging, and it still runs on a 220 V supply at 4.5 kW.
