Here is a systematic inspection protocol. Visual container inspection: check the container seal number matches the B/L document. Open the container and inspect for water damage (stains on bags, wet floor), shifted or damaged bags, and any signs of tampering. Bag count and weight: count all bags and verify against the packing list. Weigh 3-5 random bags on a platform scale to verify net weight is within tolerance (typically plus/minus 2% for jumbo bags, plus/minus 1 kg for 50kg bags). Sampling: take grab samples from at least 5 bags distributed across the container (front, middle, back, top, bottom of stack). Combine into a composite sample.

From the composite, take sub-samples for testing. Laboratory tests: moisture (should be below 1.0%), sieve residue (confirm particle size), press and fire a test disc at 1200 degrees C (compare whiteness with the COA and with your retained sample from the supplier approval batch), and XRF analysis if available. Acceptance criteria: material should match the COA within normal analytical tolerances. If any test result falls outside the agreed specification, contact us immediately with your test data. We will investigate and resolve — whether through independent re-testing, price adjustment, or replacement shipment.
