Hexagonal wire netting is manufactured in galvanized iron or PVC coated wire, twisted into a hexagonal pattern.
With good corrosion resistance and oxidation resistance, it serves as strengthening, protection and temperature keeping material in the form of mesh containers, stone cages, isolation walls, boiler covers and poultry fencing.
It is used across construction, chemical, breeding, garden and food processing industries, and is the base netting for Anwang's gabion products.

Problems It Solves
Netting bought by mesh size alone says nothing about how long it lasts. The minimum galvanization in grams per square metre is the number that does.
Tolerance on a twisted mesh drifts. These tolerances comply with EN 10223-2:1997, so what arrives can be checked against a published standard.
Netting used as gabion feedstock needs heavier wire than poultry netting in the same mesh size - the gauge bands here make that explicit.
PVC coated netting and galvanized netting are not interchangeable in wire diameter, and buying as if they were leads to short weight.

PVC coated wire where the netting sits in water, near the coast or has to last visibly - the polymer skin goes over the zinc, and the published wire diameters run from 0.6 mm to 1.4 mm.
