A PP injection-moulded filter body with a zero-leakage glandless pump, four 20 inch elements, 80 L/min flow and 150 W draw, built for the circulating filtration of plating solutions, electroforming solutions, chemical liquids and pure water.

Plating thickness, brightness and adhesion all track solution cleanliness, and a bath fills with sludge and fine particles long before anyone decides to dump it. Continuous side-stream filtration is the cheapest way to stop a whole day of plated work going out of spec.

What Is Built Into It
Zero-leakage glandless pump
No shaft seal to fail, so there is no slow drip of plating solution under the unit and no loss of a bath that has gold dissolved in it.
Four 20 inch elements, 1 cbm of area
Wide filtration area at 80 L/min, which is what lets it pull fine particles and sludge out of a live bath without throttling circulation.
PP, PVDF or acrylic body
PP for high temperature and aggressive chemistry, transparent acrylic when you want to see the bath running, PVDF where the chemistry demands it.
Activated carbon option
Carbon granules can be loaded into the filter bag, with the liquid then passing through the element for a second filtration stage, for organic contamination rather than particulate.
Element change without a service call
Quick element replacement and easy cleaning, which is the difference between filtering continuously and filtering when someone gets round to it.

How hot can the liquid be?
70 C for the standard build. The transparent acrylic version is rated to 60 C; PP is the choice for both high temperature and chemically aggressive service.
Which bath sizes is it sized for?

Can it handle strong acid and alkali?
The body is PP injection moulding, specified for resistance to strong acids and bases. PVDF is available where the chemistry is harsher still.
