What This Machine Is
A complete electroforming station: 50 A / 12 V precision rectifier, 2 kW heating with plus or minus 1 C temperature control, timed cycle, circulating filtration, platinum-titanium mesh anode, automatic low-level alarm and a precious metal recovery basin, in 80 L or 100 L tank sizes.
The problem it is built for
Electroformed gold lives or dies on bath uniformity. Drift a degree, let impurities build up, or lose track of the ampere-hours and you get uneven wall thickness on a piece that has several grams of gold in it. Every element of this machine exists to hold one of those variables still.

What Is Built Into It
Precision rectifier at 50 A / 12 V
Stability in the current is what produces an even deposit. The rectifier is specified for electroforming rather than borrowed from a plating line.
Plus or minus 1 C
Electric heating pipe plus temperature control box. One degree is the tolerance quoted, and it is the single most important number on the machine.
Circulating filtration on the bath
A corrosion-resistant circulation pump, inlet and drain pipework and a filter keep the electroforming liquid uniform and low in impurities, which is what makes the finished piece clean.
Water level alarm and auto-stop
A minimum level is preset. Below it the machine alarms and stops working, rather than running a tank dry with gold solution in it.
Recovery basin built in
A liquid recovery basin is part of the machine, so the precious metal in carry-over goes back into the process instead of down the drain.

What is supplied with the machine?
Rectifier, circulating filtration device, temperature control, time control, artifact rotation device, cathode and anode conductive device and the necessary safety devices. Electroforming chemistry can be supplied separately; hanging trays and fixtures are customised to the actual piece.
Which tank size should I take?
80 L with an inner diameter of 570 x 300 mm, or 100 L at 630 x 300 mm. Both run the same RTG-1001 filter system, 50 A / 12 V power and 2 kW heating.
Does it handle silver as well as gold?
Yes. The same machine is specified for gold and silver pendants, bracelets, rings, bangles and anklets.
How is operator safety handled?
The electroforming tank can be fitted with a transparent cover and security lock to keep the liquid clean and the operator out of it, with overload and phase-failure protection on the electrical side.
