Precision Turned Parts For Machines That Cannot Afford A Loose Tolerance
Shipu Precision machines slender shafts, bushings, housings and custom components on Japanese Swiss-type lathes in Shenzhen. Send a drawing and you get a real quotation from the people who will cut the part.
Turned And Milled Metal Parts Made To Your Drawing
Rivets, long shafts, precision turned components and milled parts, produced for office automation machines, financial equipment, medical devices, communication equipment and automotive assemblies. Every part on this site is a customer design, not a catalogue item.
Precision Turned Parts
The core of the workshop: turned components where the features that matter are cut before the part ever leaves the collet.
Machined Studs And Sleeves
Small hardware that has to fit something else exactly: a socket, a housing bore, or the rest of an assembly kit.
Shafts Bushings And Connectors
Parts that only prove themselves in pairs, so we make and check both halves rather than shipping to a drawing and hoping.
Precision Parts And Metal Components We Machine
These are parts the workshop actually runs. Use them to judge whether your own component belongs on our machines.

Equipment Builders Who Buy Parts By Drawing
Our customers design the part and buy it finished. Most of them build machines in Japan, Europe and North America and need a Chinese supplier who can hold a Japanese-level drawing without being managed daily.
Office Automation Equipment
Feed shafts, rollers and drive hardware for printing, scanning and document-handling machines.
Financial Machines
Shafts and mechanism hardware for cash handling and banking equipment built to a documented control plan.
Medical Equipment
Stainless machined hardware for medical devices, where material traceability matters as much as the dimension.
Communication Equipment
Bulkhead fittings, sleeves and machined hardware for communication cabinets and outdoor enclosures.
Automotive Components
Small turned and milled components for automotive assemblies, produced to drawing with lot traceability.
What Usually Goes Wrong Before Buyers Call Us
Slender parts are where machining suppliers separate. A long thin shaft deflects away from the tool, a knurl closes a bore, a second operation loses the datum. Our answer is equipment built for that work and a sequence designed around it.
- Long slender shafts that come back tapered from a fixed-head lathe
- Cross holes and flats drilled out of square in a second operation
- Bores that go oval after a knurl is rolled onto the same part
- Bolt patterns drilled from the wrong datum so the bearing runs hot
- Suppliers who hold the drawing on the first order and not on the fifth
- Quotations that arrive without a single engineering comment on the print
Guide-Bushing Turning
Sliding-head lathes support the bar within millimetres of the tool, which is the only reliable way to machine long slender work.
Driven Tooling In-Cycle
Flats, slots and cross holes are cut before the part leaves the collet, so they stay square to the turned datum.
Sequence By Design
Knurl before boring, seat before bolt circle, thread before facing. The order is part of the process sheet, not left to the operator.
One Control Plan Per Part
First article, sampling frequency and the instruments used are fixed for the part number and reused on every repeat order.
Engineering Reply
Quotations come back with notes on features that are expensive or fragile, not just a number.
Archived Programs
Program, tooling list and material spec are stored against the drawing revision so reorders repeat.
A Workshop Set Up For Japanese-Level Drawings
The plant was built on Japanese customer work and equipped accordingly. Citizen, Tsugami and Nomura sliding-head lathes, profile projectors and 2D height gauges, and an ISO 9001 system that has been in place since the company was certified in 2009.

Machine Tools On The Floor
- Citizen five-axis Swiss-type lathes from Japan
- Tsugami three, five and six axis Swiss-type lathes
- Nomura Swiss-type lathes
- CNC machining centres for milled housings and frames
- Auxiliary processing equipment supporting the turning departments
- Profile projectors for dimensional verification
- 2D height gauges for length and depth features
How We Keep Dimensions In Tolerance
- Drawing review before quotation, with feasibility comments returned to the customer
- First article inspection against the drawing before series release
- In-process sampling on profile projectors and 2D height gauges
- Burr and surface check at packing for every lot
- Lot records retained against the part number for traceability
- ISO 9001 certification, obtained in 2009 and maintained since
Sourcing Support Beyond The Machining Itself
Drawing To Production
The full route from a first print to a scheduled repeat order, with the checkpoints written down.
Multi Process Metal Parts
Cold heading, turning, stamping, milling, grinding and wire cutting combined on one part, under one supplier.
OEM Supply Programmes
Private label and scheduled OEM supply for buyers who need the same part, the same way, for years.
Programs We Run Today
Years Of Continuous OA Shaft Supply To A Japanese Customer
The lathe department has produced OA shafts for a Japanese financial-equipment manufacturer over many years of continuous supply.
One Supplier For A Mixed Family Of Machined Hardware
A family of turned and milled parts in mixed materials, produced and fit-checked together instead of being split across several suppliers.
Guides For Buyers Of Machined Parts
Why Slender Parts Are Machined On Swiss-Type Lathes
What a guide bushing actually does, and why a long thin shaft behaves differently on a sliding-head lathe.
Choosing Between SUS304 And SUS316L For Machined Parts
Where the extra cost of SUS316L is justified, and where SUS304 is the sensible answer.

Questions Buyers Ask Before The First Order
What does Shipu Precision actually manufacture?
Turned and milled metal components made to customer drawings: rivets, long shafts, precision cutting and milling parts for office automation machines, financial equipment, medical devices, communication equipment and automotive assemblies. We do not sell a standard catalogue.
How long have you been exporting?
The factory was established in August 2009 and spent its first decade supplying Japanese customers. The foreign trade department was set up in 2021 to take work directly from European and North American buyers.
Are you certified?
The company obtained ISO 9001 certification in 2009 and has operated under it since. Certificates are sent on request with a quotation.
How quickly can I get a sample?
Samples ship within 30 days of drawing approval. That covers programming, tooling, the sample run and the dimensional report that goes with it.
Do you accept OEM and private label work?
Yes. Almost everything we ship is an OEM part made to a customer drawing, and parts can be marked and packed under your own brand.
What is your minimum order quantity?
There is no fixed minimum. New parts usually start as a small qualification batch; the unit price reflects the setup and falls on repeat orders because the program is already proven.
Which machines will my part run on?
Citizen, Tsugami and Nomura sliding-head lathes in three, five and six axis configurations, supported by milling machines and other auxiliary equipment in the same plant.
Can I visit the factory?
Yes. The plant is in Shajing Street, Bao'an District, Shenzhen, about an hour from either Shenzhen or Hong Kong airport. Tell us when you are in the region and we will arrange the visit.
