Where an assembly needs a handful of turned parts, we make and ship them as one kit against one part number. The parts are produced in the same plant, inspected together and packed together, so what arrives is an assembly set rather than five separate deliveries that have to be reconciled.
This is the format most of our export customers settle on once a product moves past the prototype stage, because it removes most of the purchasing and goods-in work from their side.

Contents and materials follow the drawing set you send. There is no standard kit.

Custom Turned Component Set — FAQ
Can a kit include parts you do not machine yourselves?
Standard fasteners and similar bought-in items can be included and are listed separately on the quotation so you can see what is machined and what is purchased.
What happens if one item in the kit is delayed?
We tell you before the ship date and offer either a part shipment of the completed items or a revised date for the full kit. The choice is yours.
Do you check that the parts fit each other?
Mating pairs are trial-fitted from the sample lot, and the check is repeated on production samples. That is the main reason buyers move to kit supply.
Can you print our part numbers on the labels?
Yes. Send the label format and the numbering and we will apply it to the bags and the outer box.
Is a kit cheaper than buying the items separately?
The machining cost is the same; what you save is on ordering, goods-in and shortage handling. We quote the items individually so you can see exactly what you are paying for.
